Patch 1.3 just went live btw. Just under 52mb.

Patch 1.3 Notes:

General stability improvements
Optimize performance for Core 2 Duo CPUs
Fixed Radiant Story incorrectly filling certain roles
Fixed magic resistances not calculating properly
Fixed issue with placing books on bookshelves inside player purchased homes
Fixed dragon animation issues with saving and loading
Fixed Y-look input to scale correctly with framerate

Beat me to it:colbert:

Are you actually exploring the world? A large number of the misc quests I've done were locational, eg find a guy outside of a ruin who asks for help with ___. Also, many of the dungeons that don't even have a specific quest tied to them still have a story.... if you read the notes and journals you find.

Yes. Many times i'll come across a dungeon/barrow/house, and find something that I'm positive is quest related, but don't have the quest to do it. I can hold a total weight of 420 and i'm at like 418 right now with all the potions and stuff. Still no more quests though which is kind of a bummer.

Can you use the console to revive him?

/shrug. Maybe? the notes I read say to click on the person/item you want revived and then press the tilde key and type in resurrect 1

How do you click on the person when there is no cursor or make it the object of your focus?

@slag, open console, then click.

So, apparently Beth is going to add official LAA support in the next few weeks. I'm shocked.

Well I'm not surprised they are adding LAA support, it's almost required at this point just to make mods useable(this was also the case with Oblivion if you installed large mods like FCOM and several others).

After that 1.2 disaster, i was certain to turn OFF auto-updates...

Can somebody see if this game is using all 4 cores now, or if it is still largely bound to 2? I've heard conflicting reports of core usage - I'd really like to know if it's going to use all the real estate I'm giving away.

im have all sorts of issues with a proximity poison enchantment, this update at least fixed so that i dont poison friendly woodland animals by walking by them. However i was just in a brawl and it activated causing the other person to pull a sword, and it has done the same on stormcloak soldiers even though i am one.

any chance i could get you guys (esp. with nice(r) systems) to post some pictures to motivate me to buy a game, new, for $60 for the first time in years?

I have the PS3 version but built this new PC for Skyrim...but now I'm fooling myself into believing there will be a sale (i know there will not lol) soon.

Anyone know if an i5-2500k, 8gb ram, 128gb m4 ssd, and 2gb sapphire 6950 would be able to run it at max (1920x1080)?

Are you going to be making any of your own mods when the construction kit comes out?

I hope to!

Never really messed with one of Bethsedas kits before, so i'm not sure what to expect.

If you have any ideas, feel free to forward them to me! No promises though :p
