Amazes me how they let this game through without proper beta testing,CTDs are so common for PC users and not hard to reproduce at all,I guess they went with release now fix later policy.

I see their official CTD thread is up to 39 pages long ,thats a lot of unhappy PC users.

I'll say as a beta tester myself I'm more then amazed on how the CTDs etc slipped through testing.

Weird. I guess I just have a more stable system than most. I've played over 70 hours and I've had I believe a total of 3-4 CTD.

I'm not really sure if the patch is responsible for this, but this morning the game would launch, and now, it hangs there and the menu options don't show up if I want to load the game or start a new one.

Whoa! Looks like that 1.2 patch really did nuke all resistances. An elder dragon's fire breath just killed Drusilla in 2 seconds. Of course that works both ways, so on the reload she stayed out of harm's way and took it down with just 6 fireballs.

I was playing the game last night just fine.

This morning I have tried to play it but it refuses to launch the game.

I am running my computer as a standard user in Win7 64bit.

When I first loaded the game I had to right click and tell the computer to run in Admin mode. It has been working for the last 3 weeks just fine. I click on the Steam icon and then on recently played. It gets to the first screen where I press "PLAY". It is now popping up the "you must run this in admin mode. enter your password".

I type it in the password and it goes back to the "PLAY" screen.
wash. rinse repeat.

Any ways to resolve this problem?

Patch is not bad for me ,no CTD so far and only minor issue was the patch remapping of lock picking A and D keys....quite happy considering I can play Skyrim just fine and have not encountered any other issues.

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know a new texture re-pack should be rolling out by tonight.

My new set of monitors should really help me speed up the process! :D
