No legal reason, perhaps, but I think they do have a moral obligation to not continue inciting the lies and division.

Ps... I’m getting really pissed with Fox News putting up there all of these Trump loyalists claiming the election was stolen. Ken Starr reading the constitution claiming all the votes DO NOT have to be counted, going by constitutional law according to perverted interpretations of Ken Starr. I’m to the point where I do want Donald Trump to refuse to concede. Refuse to leave because I want to see Donald Trump physically removed from the Whitehouse like a mad dog. Donald Trump does not deserve any kind of respect and should not be allowed any sort of decency after what Donald Trump has done. To insult the America people and insult the institution of free elections has made Trump unworthy of a presidential exit. Trump should be removed in handcuffs, banned from the inauguration, stripped of any recognition, and kicked the hell out of Kansas. Trump is a slime ball, treat him like a slime ball.

I am familiar with it as my local Trumpers are 100% head first deep diving into that filth.

They enjoy complete 100% alt-reality bubble on Parler. Only what they want to hear, all the feels, all the time.

("Vu" is the past tense of voir, which is "to see". Thus the phrase, "déjà vu" referring to something you think you have already seen

Yep. Parler is one of those social sites that pitches itself as a champion of free speech, like Gab or 8chan. But like those sites, it's turning into a haven for people who got banned from the mainstream social networks for falsehoods, hate speech and threats of violence.

There's a certain irony to those sites. Without adequate moderation, they become so toxic that they quickly devolve into echo chambers for the small group of people who tolerate or participate in that toxicity. They render themselves more irrelevant than if they'd just abided by the rules on Facebook or Twitter.

The thing is, the guy who founded it doesn't want it to be a site for right wing crazies at all and over the summer was begging for liberals to join to try to balance it out:


I could see this going the way of 8chan where it becomes so toxic that the founder just gives up on it.
