Have you checked your thin privilege today?

I hope you guys realize that:
1. There is NO evidence that fat people are less healthy than skinny people.
2. Airlines not offering seats that fit fat people is a violation of their civil rights.
3. We WILL mandate bodily diversity in all film mediums, once the Rethuglicans are kicked out of Congress. Along with this, we WILL outlaw the usage of the word "fat" by anyone with thin privilege.
4. There is ZERO evidence that consuming less calories than you burn makes you lose weight.
5. Skinny women are tricked into being skinny by the Patriarchy. There is significant evidence that skinny women are cognitively impaired by their thinness. Only fat women can be independent and empowered.

Fat people either eat too much, don't exercise enough, or both. They can make up all the excuses they want but coming from a country with a lot of very healthy and skinny people I should probably point out that they also work out 5 days a week and don't eat giant portions of food. So if you know someone who is fat odds are they don't do enough to change.

Fat people don't want to face reality. They are unhealthy and there is nothing to be proud of about that.

So gays deserve HIV because that's the choice they make?

Yeah lets use tiny minorities to try to detract from my point.

The vast majority of fat people are fat because they eat too much, eat unhealthy foods, and don't exercise.

If the superior people from your country came here they'd start to gain weight and their children would be indistinguishable from anyone else. Your point is based on ignorance of fundamental social and biological understanding, or do you also believe blacks are inferior and natural criminals?

Let's have some fun with this. Fill in the blank.

The vast majority of drug addicts are addicts because ___

The vast majority of those HIV positive are HIV positive because ___

The vast majority of those on psychotropic medications are on psychotropic medications because ___

The vast majority of those seeking transgender surgery are seeking transgender surgery because ___

The vast majority of people who are severely underweight are severely underweight because ___

My mom struggled with obesity and died of a stroke at 58.
Would you consider her obesity to be the result of an addiction? To food of course.

Assuming you say yes, I believe that overeating is an addictive behavior. There are reasons for it, but it is based in addiction. For the overweight, it's not as simple as cutting back, exercising, etc.

Uh I'm American. And the reason people are fat back home is because they eat too much and don't exercise. Not because they live there.

Yes it is. I dropped ~45 pounds over the past three years by cutting my calorie intake and running a ton (~1900 miles last year, 630 so far this year, with a goal of 2000+ for the year). I come from a traditionally 'fat' family, so it's been a lifetime problem, but that's just the genetic breaks. I target 1600 calories/day (+any additional calories burned via exercise) just to maintain weight, and no doubt it's hard, but it's also doable. I've always had a low metabolic rate, and it's only slowed as I've aged. If I want to not weight over 200 pounds again, it means lots of hard choices - always logging calories, taking the stairs at work (even when my office was on the 8th floor), keeping a brisk walking pace, exercising 5-6 days/week, parking at the far end of the lot, etc. Yes, it's not easy at all, but few things things are. I have no patience with excuses.

If you choose to engage in high risk behaviors I have no sympathy for you when it bites you in the butt(pun intended).

Gay men are something like 50-100 times more likely to contract HIV than the general population.

I, personally, am thankful we have schneider sitting on the wall, keeping watch for fatties. It helps me sleep more soundly at night.

For fuck's sake, next they will find out that ugly people don't get as many nice things in life as beautiful people.

Congratulations on your weight loss. As far as "yes it is", well there are people who stopped being gay. There are black inner city people who got out and got a job. Therefore being overweight is a moral failing like being a lazy black or being gay. Addiction to drugs and alcohol doesn't exist. It's inferior people.

The problem is that the science doesn't back the displayed ignorance. The social and genetic factors in this country overwhelmingly predispose the population to obesity.

I can make almost anyone gain weight without them eating more or exercising less. I'll wager the vast majority of people who "know" so much about how things work haven't a clue as to what it is, or if they do they'll simply ignore the science, and science is the real point here, not Pharisees standing on the corner pointing at the sinners and giving thanks they aren't like them.

And blacks are more likely to commit crimes. Shouldn't we be arresting more? And since statistics show they are more likely to commit violent crime we most certainly ought to be walling them off into FEMA camps or something. It's for the Greater Good, and we all know we want that.

So what is wrong with people from you current (and other) nations then?
