you forgot the part where you cut off your tongue

Not always true.

I live in Illinois and have learned where to find some pretty good sushi.

Last Summer I went to LA for the first time in many years and tried three different sushi places. They were all pretty mediocre (with TERRIBLE service).

A good sushi chef is a good sushi chef, no matter where they work.

China has bad Mexican food. Discuss.

and yet, chinese mexican restaurants in the north east are the best thing ever.

What? what? WHAT???

mexican restaurants run and staffed by chinese people.

is that just an NJ phenomena? we had one right down the block from my office when I worked in Newark and it was awesome (well, you know, as far as take-out goes)

got some good sushi in DC, and good stuff in Park City ut too.

ok, ok...First off, I live in Kansas, and I've had sushi in Japan. We have a small local Japanese place in town that makes sushi...i would consider it meh on a scale of bad to amazing. My wife, who never had sushi before likes it a lot. It all depends on your perspective. Luckily having the place opened my wife's eyes to the wonders of sushi.
