Pretty neat, but a blue screen joke? Really?
I don't like BSOD jokes, there's nothing funny about BSOD's. My Vista BSOD'ed 4 times today from a Network card driver and there's NO SOLUTION FOR IT! That scene hit too close to home to be funny to me.
Sad that my Vista box crashes more than my Win 98 box dod, yeah Microsoft!!
Spend 20$ on a network card that works? I would say buy one made in the last 8 years, but you would probably insist it was only a week old.
If you have something really unique that isn't vista compatible then feel free to complain, but there really is no excuse to use a network card that isn't working.
I don't think I have seen a BSOD since windows 98, but maybe It's just me not running hardware made before even XP was on the horizon.
Edit: I'm always late to the party![]()
The NIC isn't old, the MB's a p35 chipset and by all accounts should work flawlessly with Vista. Seeing how millions of people have p35 MB's with the same onboard NIC . Yes I could go by a $20 PCI NIC card and fix the problem, but the problem isn't my computer. My XP (same box) never BSOD's from the NIC. My Vista, sometimes 2-3 times a day. There's NO old hardware in this box, and since XP gives me zero problems, I have to go with "Vista sucks" it might be good for a lot of people. But, I can see why so many people bitch about it.
ROFL what? Millions of people have no problems with the NIC + Vista, but you do so it's automatically Vista's fault.

Some people just see what they WANT to see. He said he had XP on the same box with no error. Yeah, I'd probably blame Vista too if another OS worked.
I've had the same problems with Vista only with a video card and external monitor support. Worked fine in XP. SP1 came out for Vista and I tried it again. Same result in Vista.
Sure, blame the hardware. ANYTHING but Vista, right?
Sounds more like a vendor issue than a Microsoft Problem. Consider getting an Intel PCI-e gigabit ethernet adapter with built in I/O Processor and you should have no more issues.
