DOS should be given the stability awarded, for the most stable MS product to be released. Granted, some third party apps or drivers may have caused it to crash; but by default DOS is rock solid.

So just like Windows then?

Matrix Runs on Windows, probably made on a MAC.

Win95 is still the BSOD king.

You're kidding, right?

I loved Win95 OSR2. I used it until I switched to Windows 2000.

Windows98 is the BSOD champion, AFAIC.

ME

Ah, yeah. I totally forgot about WindowsME. I never personally used it.

ME and 3.1 are tied in my experience.

Super funny, but older then the matrix itself, if that's even possible.

Oh and I have seen BSOD's on XP even win2k. In win2k a BSOD is usually for something VERY bad and the only way is to reinstall. With XP it's usually same case, but once in a while they'll happen at random and you power cycle and good to go.

Windows 98 was bad for the random BSODs. I remember walking in the computer lab in high school and there was always at least 3 machines with a BSOD on them, and it was never the same ones.
