The final bit of Jessie J's "performance" had a few seconds of hearing her voice, but her mic was at waist level and her mouth was closed. It's also pretty obvious that Brand's "singing" was prerecorded and cleaned up a bit.

I've only used some lower end Sennheiser wireless mics, but it seems to me they would have had some issues with the range on the wireless mics if they were really on while cruising around the stadium in a convertible.
