The other problem now is that every time a team comes in and beats the Pat's (even if they play a great game)- it's going to have an astricks by it- kind of like in golf now w/ Tiger out- everyone wonders what would happen if he was playing...
I'll admit, I don't hate the Pat's as much as everyone else (not exactly a *fan*, but dont hate them)- but I've always liked watching Bradey play- he's a great QB and it really is too bad if he's out for the season

Brady's my #1 non-Cowboy favorite player. I sincerely hope that everyone who's wishing ill-will towards him realize that karma comes two-fold. Have fun with the amputation, dickheads.

I wouldn't even be cheering for P. Manning go down, he's far too fun to watch even though I'm not a fan of his.

This IS karma. Wilfork hurt JP Losman in a similar matter, except Wilfork took a very noticeable intentional lunge at Losman's knee. Balance is now restored.

Kind've lame how people are cheering an injury.

The patriots and brady and their fans caused the reaction. Nobody else. Karma is a bitch.

How badly did your team get beaten?

They didn't, they won the 2006 super bowl. It's mainly the last season where patriots fans couldn't shut up about how great they were.

KARMA - talking smack all season and losing AGAIN in the super bowl to a manning
KARMA - still talking smack and have your QB out for the season

Yea, SOME fans, but not all, and if the Chargers, Colts, Steelers or any team started winning games early last season like the Pat's started out, you gonna get some annoying squawking from THAT fan base as well. I can remember the early 90's when Dallas was winning and the "America's team" thing came about, and Troy Aikman was the uber-successful QB and a GQ cover boy...it got annoying, still I didn't feel happiness to see him get concussed and carted off the field, I wanted to see him sacked, beaten, and lose but NOT injured..

Pollard was on all fours, intentional lunge at the knees is about the only thing he could do at that point, but I consider it a legal hit as I consider Wilfork's hit a legal hit..

It'd be karma if that guy got hurt in a similar manner.

Brady getting hurt isn't karma, it's him getting hurt.

Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of cheaters

Suit up the backup and toss him behind center, just like every other team has done in the past.

Karma's a biatch, suck it Pat* fan bois.....

The future of sports and its fandom is saddening. 🙁

There are a bunch of veteran QBs out there looking for work. I'm surprised that the Patriots didn't have a more seasoned backup QB in there.

He was gonna be my 1st round pick....but I came late...so I got westbrook instead.

Well...we are gonna see now...did the pats make brady look good or did brady make them look good....this is gonna get interesting.Atleast er are gonna get the bandwagon fans off....

I am also guessing that Daunte Culpepper is not availble in fantasy leagues?

I would hope so, he retired not even a week ago. It was funny to me because CBS Sportsline sent my league QB stickers for our draft with his name on one but no team.. not even an FA to indicate free agent.

A lot of people in this thread are really bitter that the Pats & Tom Brady are better then whatever team they root for

It?s 1 thing to not like a team/player, its pretty normal but to wish an injury on someone especially those wishing a career ending injury on him is really really sad and pathetic

Agreed. I really do not get the hate. I mean...WTF....As much as I hated the yankees...I never wanted to see any of the guys get hurt. Not even Damon. I do not see why people have to hate the Pats like that. Brady is one of top QB's in the game. Rooting that he gets hurt is rooting for the NFL to suck.

as much as I don't like the Pats, I feel really bad for him. He was a great player and had tons of potential. Hopefully it isn't too severe and he can come back eventually.

You realize everyone who is happy about this is just admitting that their favorite team would have been screwed had this not happened...so you're actually acknowledging what a great player Brady is.

You were gonna pick Tom Brady over Brian Westbrook? Jesus, what pick did you have? Tom Brady is NOT a Top 4 pick.

Totally agree.

I'm a Vikings fan; always have been and always will be, but I can't imagine being happy at the fact I will not be able to watch one of the best players in the game play, nevermind wishing ill will on someone just because you're envious of them and their team. Sad really.

What do you expect. I am from NE. I am dillusional at times😉 BTW, I had 9th pick in the first round....BUT...i was not there for the first round and yahoo picked Plaxico for my first pick (I know..WTF!). I was suprised Westbrook was still there in the 2nd round.
