while i'm no brady fan and was sick of the patriots last year, i never like seeing someone go out in their prime because of an injury :(

I'm a Chiefs fan and I didn't want to see him get injured. The defense was actually not playing too bad with him in there, and I would've liked to seen how they would've held up the rest of the game. I wouldn't even want to see Harrison injured and he's probably the biggest p.o.s. on the Patriots. If you watch it, it never would've happened the way it did had the running back not held Pollard.

It?s 1 thing to not like a team/player, its pretty normal but to wish an injury on someone especially those wishing a career ending injury on him is really really sad and pathetic

QFT.

is kinda sickening.

Oh come on. He gets a slight limp and has to take a year off with his supermodel gf and millions of dollars. I wish someone would hate me enough to wish that on me.

edit for gf status

done. i wish upon you a grievous injury that removes you from your profession, and is the source of mockery, and will give you pain long after your day in the sun is over.

Totally agree.

I'm a Vikings fan; always have been and always will be, but I can't imagine being happy at the fact I will not be able to watch one of the best players in the game play, nevermind wishing ill will on someone just because you're envious of them and their team. Sad really.

KT

KT, your a true football fan, and one with class too. I can remember when Dan Marino was playing and for a few reasons I didn't care for the man, but as a player I was always watching him, that fact that I didn't like him didn't change the fact that he was an awesome QB and the Dolphin games were always fun to watch. The past few seasons the Pat's have played some excellent games vs the Colts, some they won, some they didn't, but I know one thing, I always wanted to see the Brady/Manning matchup simply because it's a blast to watch the QB position played at the level these two are capable of...

I wonder if the NFL will now institute a pope-like bubble around the QB to prevent any form of contact. I'm sorry about Brady and everything, but this will have a large negative impact on the further pussieness of the QB's in this league. They made that retarded "Carson Palmer" rule, I can't imagine what the "Brady" rule will look like.

Its a tough balance for the league, they are known for their physical play, but the big draws are of course the Bradys/Mannings etc. I hope they don't overreact though, I like the play of the NFL the way it is.

They're already too easy on QB's. Peyton already got a phantom "roughing the passer" call yesterday, I don't even want to think about what it will be like in the future.

yeah, I can really see Brady shuffling off to the Piggly Wiggly to buy bread and milk with food stamps. he gets paid millions a year whether he plays ball or not, not to mention 10's of millions a dollar for endorsements, plus he gets to bang Bundchen. He'll more than likely be back next year.

Cry me a river, boohoo Tom Brady

He's a future hall of famer, he's fun as hell to watch, why would anyone wish this on him? Jealous? Or just a cowardly little asshole?

This was a totally clean hit, Just a really, really shitty outcome. I think the rules are fine the way they are. A qb is very vulnerable when throwing the ball, so yea, maybe some rules need to be in play to protect him when his line can't, but this was a clean play, no doubt, just bad luck.

I'm not worried about his physical come-back. More his mental one. QBs have to step into the pass - this step is what cost him his knee and his season.

It is going to be so tough for him to feel comfortable stepping into his passes in the future.

The patriots and brady and their fans caused the reaction. Nobody else. Karma is a bitch.
You're serious. That's pathetic.

I'm not debating that it wasn't a clean hit, I'm actually in favor of getting rid of the pussy "roughing the passer" calls on every little touch.

It should be: throw the ball, if you are still finishing your throwing motion, you can be blown up. They call it half the time now when the damn ball hasn't even left the QB's hand

Yup. Clean hit with a terribly unfortunate outcome.

I just don't understand the mentality of "well he makes millions so why should I feel bad for him?" He's an athlete and a competitor and I'm sure would trade a lot of earnings for the ability to play this season.

Like others said, it sucks to see one of the best in the league go down.

Agree 100%.

Urlacher got tagged with one last night on Peyton. They went to commercial and you could clearly read his lips to the ref, "What'd I do?!"
