LOL, I know, the Courier demo was pretty unrealistic considering today's current screen & battery technology.

5 years from now, maybe, but today it's have to be pretty large to accommodate the batteries it'd need to be functional for more that an hour or so, and the touch interface is years away from being polished enough for consumer use...

So, it was an iPad induced abortion?



One can only hope it works better than their last collaboration, the Nexus One...

Check out the 2K+ long thread about the touchscreen... (they used a touchscreen that was never designed for multitouch)

Google killed the 3G/radio thread and announced they're not going to work on it any longer.

I'm not even going to list all my issues with the damn thing... If anyone's interested, just browse the support forums.

hahah i was thinking that while i was writing...i know all about the fail that is the Nexus One :D

well since HP bought palm and they have stated to want a WebOS powered tablet, I think killing the slate was a good idea. I for one look forward to a WebOS tablet.

that device would have been a total embarassment. small screen, slow cpu, long boot up times, 1 gig memory, poor battery life, high price....
