Oh, here is a pic of a tattoo from some guy sitting two rows in front of me. Some guy with his wife and daughter. I thought it was funny.

I went to see this with a few friends tonight. I didn't enjoy it much at all. Even though the movie was just 90 minutes long it felt like it dragged on. The character development was so weak that all of the characters could have died in a horrible nuclear explosion and I wouldn't have shed a single tear-- I'd be happy knowing that the end of the movie must be near.

I never knew action sequences could be so mundane, so pedestrian, so predictably braindead, and so boring until I saw this movie and the latest Indianda Jones movie.

Of course, my friends are comic book loving fiends, and they loved the movie. If you are, too, you just might like this movie as well.

Didn't really care all that much for the movie. Seemed like it was simply just a louder version of the Hulk.

I've never really understood why the Avengers want to kill Hulk instead of doing something like drugging him up and keeping him locked up or whatever. Like when they throw him into the sun (and he comes back :p).

As for the movie, I saw it at the midnight showing and I donno... just wasn't into it. Iron Man was great because of RDJ and frankly, I had never heard of Ed Norton before this film. I kind of didn't like how they started off after the accident and such. It felt almost like they skipped the entire time that the first movie took up.

The Ultimates (Avengers in the Marvel Ultimate universe) Vol1 had probably the funniest yet awesome use of the Hulk.

 Never heard of Edward Norton? American History X? Fight Club?

That was pretty much the point. This was a reboot of the series.

So looks like there's gonna be an Avengers movie huh?

Yea.. it was hinted at the end of the credits of Iron Man :)

and confirmed in later news releases. Captain America, Thor, Ant-Man (gulp), and Iron Man 2 movies will precede the Avenger movie.

wow.. i hope all the original actors get to play in the Avenger movie!!

That's the idea. Whether or not Marvel screws it up or not is the question. There are already rumblings about Favreau not coming back to direct Iron Man 2 because of pay. And then there was this piece from AICN saying that Downey Jr. had signed up for a movie whose release date is approximately the same time as Iron Man 2's originally planned release date.

It wasn't too bad. It gets a little slow in the middle.

The first one wasn't horrible, IMO...but this one was better.

Well, the Illuminati (not the Avengers, but close enough: Iron Man, Charles Xavier, Black Bolt, Namor, Stephen Strange, Black Panther, Reed Richards) did try to send him to his own unpopulated planet.

Only that plan went horribly wrong (Planet Hulk), and then he comes back to earth and beats up every major superhero (World War Hulk).

I liked Iron Man and X-Men, not so much the previous Hulk.

This film portrays how the 2003 Hulk should have been, which is just a solid movie.

bullshit, you are just another person who jumped on the bandwagon.

the previous hulk movie was way more interesting than this one. The best part of this movie was the ending where they showed Stark.

This hulk movie had a lot of problems, it was short (which was actually good considering it was boring)

norton was alright but the story lacked something special.

The hulk also didn't feel as powerful as he did in the other film and it was more of the same crap where he throws cars around, ending in a good fight shot in the dark where you couldn't see what the fuck was happening.

The only movie with more fail than this in recent memory was transformers.

LOL! That last Hulk movie is WHY they made this one. The first one was one of the worst films of the new millenium.

But hey...it's CasioTech----if he posts he's wrong.

it sucks more.

ang lee's hulk was superb. Anyone who says otherwise is without an opinion.

Holy crap. I liked the first Hulk (one of the few it seems) but it was anything but superb. The whole story arc with his father was just complete shit; the rest of the movie was okay though.

This recent Hulk is much better imo, and although it is different, you can see where it ties in from where the first one left off, so it's not a complete reboot.

According to wiki there was already a script for Hulk 2 and then I guess a decision was made that they wouldn't follow Ang Lee's version and do a reboot. However they used that same script anyway except a few changes here and there so it qualifies as something "new".

Apparently Ed Norton also was not too pleased with the finished product (I don't blame him). The movie wasn't all that great (certainly not Iron Man or Spider-Man 2) and it was marginally better than Ang's version.

Everyone I've spoken to about this is wondering if it's a sequel or we're supposed to forget about the last one, merely 5 years ago. It's fvcking confusing, what is this nonsense all about?

You couldn't be more correct. I don't know why Casio said the final fight was too dark to tell what was going on in the new Hulk movie. It was crystal clear from where I was sitting. Meanwhile, I still can't tell what was going in in the final fight of the Ang Lee version.

Reboot. Consider the Ang Lee version to be an alternate universe version of the Hulk. The new Hulk exists in the Marvel Universe with Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, etc.

Well, it's sort of a reboot, but if you saw the first one, there is some continuity there.

I was thinking about this movie and how it could have been better. They could have done with about half the screen time they gave to Liv Tyler and instead had two fights with Abomination, better developing the treacherous relationship between the Abomination and Gen. Ross after the transformation.

Hulk wasn't strong enough. I didn't like how he had to jump around on buildings like a goat on a mountain, when in the comics he can jump many miles in a single bound. Ed Norton didn't really shine in this movie. It's a waste to use someone as good as him in a role where his acting skill doesn't really matter.

I still enjoyed the movie. It was about as good as spider man and transformers, not as good as batman begins or iron man.

I thought it was just OK. It was much better than the last version though.

Having heard how the 1st one sucks and 2nd is so much better, I skipped the 1st and watched the 2nd.

2nd one is worse than a typical mindless Hollywood blockbuster. Though it's got really great actors, it doesn't offer any room for the actors to act. What a waste. They should've put tv commercial actors. The story is.....well, there is no story. HTML code of this forum page has more stories than the movie. Though all of friends like it, I thought I'd been entertained better if I put $10 into a garbage and watched it for 90 minutes.

Disappointed with the 2nd one, I watched the 1st one. 1st one was just so much better in terms of everything.

The wife and I saw it Friday night and the only reason we did was because someone gave her free movie passes from her work.

We both were hesitant to see it because of how awful the last one was and because of the lack of interest in the Hulk my wife had.

But we were both glad we saw it in the end.

It was better than we thought it'd be.

I thought it was great! The storyline wasn't quite up to Ironman levels, but it more than made up for it in action. If you want to see a movie with monsters fighting and stuff blowing up, this will fulfill your every need :D

I think it would have made a more lasting impression and a place in my DVD collection if it had had more of a storyline. The story was kind of on the sad side and it just "dealing with things as they come along". The end wasn't really good or bad, just kind of sad that he was alone, all by himself, eh? (hehe) Plus he was unstoppable the whole movie...he was almost *too* indestructible, you just kinda felt like the Hulk was going to win everything no matter what, unlike Ironman where he was more fragile. The computer graphics were amazing...the Hulk in the rain looked as realistic as the dinos in Jurassic park.

Fun show!
