Just came back from watching it and thought it was awesome even though I was never a fan of the comic or original series.

Watch it tonight!

I liked Iron Man and X-Men, not so much the previous Hulk.

This film portrays how the 2003 Hulk should have been, which is just a solid movie.

Cool, I never had any interest in the first one, so I'm kind of excited to see this one.

I would agree, except death to snoochie exists, although I like to pretend otherwise.

I've heard that scene was cut because test audiences didn't like it or it didn't fit the PG-13 rating, I don't remember which. I'm leaning toward the test audience thing, though. There is supposed to be a director's cut of the movie when it comes to DVD, and that scene is supposed to be there. Of course, this all comes from the IMDB site, so it could all be wrong, but the suicide scene is in the book.

it wasn't bad - plenty of gaping plot holes, but hey, it's an action movie, we're not going for the thought-provoking plot.

Never heard that one. The only appearance from Stark I heard about was the one in the bar.

Transformers > Iron Man??

I mean, I went to the first showing of transformers (like 2 days before actual release) and I liked it and all but... I think nostalgia is clouding your memory. Watch it again... such cheesy/poorly-delivered lines, almost painfully delivered comedy (c'mon, the military guys should be at least competent), huge plot holes (ok, I realize we're watching a movie about giant talking robots, but still), etc.

Iron Man is the better movie, overall.

It sucked.

I like Ed Norton but just didn't like this movie, I could tell Norton wasn't too into it either. I liked Iron Man a lot. I hope they don't combine the characters in these superhero movies...don't want to see the Hulk in a movie ever again. Not that the movie was completely terrible, but I'd say 4 out of 10.

I thought it was well done, but no where near the level of Iron Man. I saw Iron Man 2 times already and want to see it a third. I have no desire to see The Incredible Hulk again. Edward Norton is always good, but the supporting cast sucked. Liv Tyler should stick to being an elf, Tim Roth was alright but underdeveloped, And William Hurt was just a bad choice. They should have gotten Chris Cooper or something. Hurt is just blah.

Norton was very into the movie. He helped write the script and was making changes to the script every day on set.

I just saw it and thought it was good. I guess after the first one, I was expecting a very crappy movie. I thought they did a good job with the story telling in this one.

So looks like there's gonna be an Avengers movie huh?

I don't know which movie ropeadope was watching, but I could tell Norton was into it. Not only that, but he had a lot of interest in shooting this movie from the start.

*shrug*. He was not up to par IMO, he probably knew this movie was going to be pretty lame :p

i never grew up with transformers :p

iron man was good, but his ass-kissing air force friend really annoyed me. and while the humor was great, tony stark's personality (though perfect for the movie) just wore on me after a while.

start conversation
insert general bullshit
tony stark makes witty remark
end conversation

that, and transformers' music was incredible.

Just got back from seeing The Hulk. I went to the 11:00 matinee ($3.00 here) with only a handfull of people in the theatre, which is about the only way I see movies at the theatre any more.

Good flick, not great. The only real complaint was the movie could have used a lot less Liv Taylor screen time. Other than that, it was pretty good and more in line with what a Hulk movie should be. Much better than the first one anyway and I'll probably see it again when it comes out on video.

*********** SPOILER ******************

The professor that helped Banner at the end, forget his name but he was Mr. Blue, is he going to be some future villain? Some of the Banner blood spilled on that cut in his head and his skull started transforming a little bit where it got in the cut. And he certainly didn't seem to have any qualms about using Banner's blood for experiments and such. Was he at character from one of the Hulk comic books at any time?

Oh, and I sure would have liked to have seen the Hulk rip off the Abomination's head at the end of their fight. What do you suppose happens with the Abomination?
