EDIT: nevermind. Question was answered above.

I've never seen that in my life. What's that, lx?

I've been on the waitlist for a Concept2 Model D since December, and my SlickDeals alerts popped up with Amazon being in-stock. So I ordered it from there instead! Should be here on Friday.

I can't wait to be able to get some good exercise indoors, and stop having to run in the cold weather. Not that I don't enjoy running, but I haven't been making a good habit out of keeping up with it.

I ended up getting this rower recently because it was in stock and on sale and I really wanted to start rowing: https://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/proform-750r-rower#repChildCatid=9254001

Not as nice as the concept 2, but I wasn't sure I was going to stick with it enough to warrant that level of rower anyway

I haven't developed great habits yet, but I do feel like I felt better quite quickly after starting rowing. And I wasn't as sore for as long as I get when I first start other types of exercise

RTX 3090 was my latest. I also ordered a bunch of other pc gear, but don’t know when I’ll get it.

Amazon? I ordered a 5600x first when discord lit up, then ~20 minutes late the 5800x that I actually wanted. Both were slated for end of February/Marc 1 deliveries. 5600x got here Monday and the 5800x today lol. Returning the 5600x ASAP.

No Best Buy. They have a dump every other Tuesday. I have a pre order for a 5950, but if I can get one Tuesday, I'll be quite a happy boy.

I remember when I used to get excited about new builds like a kid on Christmas. It has been a while though as the upgrades have been so incremental along with just not having the same enthusiasm for the hobby. Maybe some of the competitiveness of the current market and new tech is bringing that back for people.

That was honestly part of it for me -- 'Can I get my hands on any of this stuff.'

I hadn't done a REAL build since ~2011 or so. I still like gaming (not nearly as much time as I used to have), and really just missed the whole process/culture of building PCs. It was also an ode to my 14 year old self who cut grass to buy each part piece by piece, who one day wanted to build a @#$% you PC when he had the means lol.

This turned out to be one of the best kitchen investments I've made ever. While I have a couple Japanese Gyutou and Santoku knives for years that are quite good (Togiharu and Glestain), they aren't quite on the level of this beast. This particular model is one of the heavier Nakiri knives I could find and that was on purpose. Nakiri knives are for breaking down vegetables and they do it very well. Never has dicing an onion been so easy, it cuts through them like butter. Of course, this knife would be good for other things too, just because it is a supposed vegetable knife does not mean it would not cube a chicken breast with ease or quickly trim off the fat off a few pork chops. It is the finest blade I've used. Highly recommended.

I still get excited when a new build comes alive, but it's not quite like back in the day. I'm giving my current pc away, and making this new build mine. That way both of us get an upgrade. :D

Samsung Note20 Ultra 5G, Mystic Bronze 128GB, $899.99+tax after $400 credit. Upgrading my Note 9 (unlocked 512GB Cloud Silver) which I got Dec 2018.
Transferring my Google Fi number to this phone to get the $400 credit. $20/month + $10/GB. Google Fi wanted to pay $125 for a trade-in. I'm keeping the Note 9. ;)
Waiting for the protective case which will be delivered tomorrow.
