Does this girl look like she's under duress? lmao. She obviously went with him voluntarily.

When was that pic taken?

dimaggio had letters written to him from her... yeah.

If she's involved, it's extremely disturbing that she would have little bro killed too. Disturbed.

I'll take a shot at how this all turns out:

In the coming weeks, media leaks more details about a possible romantic relationship between her and the older man.

As questions and speculations begin to heat up, she either a) stops appearing publicly or b) sits down for a tell-all interview on TV at which point she breaks down and reveals the "entire truth."

Finally, she ends up a social pariah like Casey Anthony or OJ Simpson.

Does that sound about right?

If she does turn out to be involved in a non-victim way, then this is even more disturbing. I mean, we have TV shows now called "16 and Pregnant", so what's next, 16 & Kidnapped? When I went to high school, there was like one girl in the entire school who got pregnant, and it made her life pretty dang hard. These days, things have totally changed. Per Wikipedia on the "16 and Pregnant" TV show:

In 2011, the Social Security Administration reported that the names of one of the featured mothers and her son ("Maci" and "Bentley") were the names that saw the greatest increase in frequency over the past year.

I also remember when we were at the doctor's office for a pregnancy checkup a couple years ago, all of the top baby names were from "Twilight". People are just super driven by advertising, marketing, and TV media, it's amazing! Anyway, if she was a victim in all of this, what a horrible thing to have happen, but if she masterminded this thing, well, these days you'd probably get a movie deal :p I hope it's not the latter, because that's like another sign of the decay of our civilization

I don't think there is any doubt they were in a romantic relationship. The questions all revolve around the killings. Why would the guy suddenly snap and kill her family? He had to see it as a way for them to be together. I'm having trouble believing that she was nothing but a victim.
I hope I've just watched too many cop shows and I'm completely wrong.

Oprah will have to get involved. The Big O is perpetually desperate to get viewers for her failing network

Teen pregnancy is as low as its ever been since the 1940s. Todays numbers are half of what they were in the early to mid 1990s.

If she was the mastermind and is convicted, she wouldn't be able to profit from her crime.

People who have been traumatized over time can develop the ability to compartmentalize their emotions. I would not be surprised if she has endured some horrors (not just during the kidnapping) and no longer can react with what we would see as "normal" emotions.

Yeah. There's some kind of disconnect here.

I think that pic was taken when she went to malibu, hollywood, disneyland with him. Just the 2 of them. This was prior to kidnapping.

That wasn't what the file name said. While file name is proof of nothing, someone thought it was taken in Idaho.

That pic surfaced the week she was kidnapped. One of the wanted poster they used.

Oh, gotcha. I haven't been paying much attention until very recently. Psychopaths interest me, so I've started noticing.

When she was found, I was with talking with a cop friend at a BBQ, and I mentioned that I would not be shocked if she was in on the entire thing.

I think she was in on the kidnapping.

wouldn't surprise me.

I feel like if the genders were reversed and you had a teenage male running away with an older female family friend, the narrative of a plot to kill the boy's parents and run away together would write itself.

Sadly she is. The anderson and dimaggios are dysfunctional uncluding some relatives. Thats the reason Jim took advantage of this.

She did her nails day after rescue and had starbucks. Bought an Iphone.

I keep coming back to this thread, waiting for some bombshell to be dropped that demonstrates she was in on the whole thing. I'm also wondering what the details were on why he was shot, instead of simply arresting him. The horseback riders apparently had no problem approaching him... why would anyone else?
