There's always the possibility that she was somehow involved, but I don't see anything that I would consider significant evidence of it. How she's acting now (not acting emotional the way people expect her to) is apparently a very normal form of reaction from traumatized people, based on what psychologists said. She's got a very tough road ahead of her regardless, unless she's just a flat out psychopath and just doesn't care about her mother and brother.

What is interesting is on the day of the Kidnapping there were 13 calls between her and the guy. And also her descriptions of how she was kidnapped did not match the physical evidence found. There were inconsistencies on the story.

Will the police pursue the case or will they close it and move on?

Yet you still felt the need to post about how you don't know / don't care.

Do you just keep that quote handy to use in situations where you want to appear smart? For example, while discussing an issue fit for a Maury Povich episode?

Close and move on just like that suicide case of that lady in the millionaire's mansion who was found hanged with her hands and feet bound.

Vaginal fluid -- thanks, CSI.

yeah I was thinking this as well...but my assumption is that this is CSI tomfoolery.

CSI thinks you can get DNA from a stray hair follicle, lol.

I'm thinking that extracting DNA from the outside of the condom is not very viable. I haven't tried it personally, but experiences getting DNA from various tricky sources leads me to believe that it is mostly TV magic.

I'd expect skin cells would be left behind. If you can get DNA from a cheek swab, why not a vagina swab?

they aren't swabbing the vagina, though. taking a direct swab and storing the cells in TE or whatever is very different than trying to recover a useful sample from an aged, likely highly degraded and limited source.

again, viability. DNA is certainly very resilient, but factors include age of the condom and its exposure to unfavorable conditions (mostly temperature), contamination from the surrounding environment, and amount of recoverable material.

Her mom and brother were murdered, and she's acting like everything is normal, answering questions online, taking selfies.

If my mother and brother were brutally murdered, I'd be f**ked up for months, probably even years. And I sure as hell wouldn't want any public/media contact, or contact with people in general other than family for weeks.

Yeah, I'm feeling that too.

She does not seem broken up over the situation. Also there seems to be some inconsistencies in the story's as well. I wonder if she was complicit in the whole crime. Something does not add up.

What do you think, her behavior and some of the evidence is a bit odd. (ie letters from her found in DiMaggio's home, used condom etc.. Her comments to the people who first saw her. Her behavior after the fact.
