what happened to the blond stripper from the original? thought she was suppose to be in this one?!

They explained it the movie. Stew divorced her "whore ass" after marrying her in Vegas

Before this thread I thought I was the only one alive who didn't find the first movie that funny.

I'll probably see part two at some point just for the hell of it.

It wasn't exactly Oscar material ... but it was pretty much what I expected. Some recycled jokes, but the formula remained the same. If you're disappointed, it is because you didn't watch any of the trailers, or read any reviews. It was worth my matinee pricing, but little more.

As with the first, the film roll was the highlight.

it's the first movie in a different setting. anyone who went in with higher expectations than that was just setting themselves up for disappointment. i enjoyed it.

entertaining, but couldhave done w/less cock and more bush

The
full-frontal with Chow
was the very definition of "less cock, more bush", so I'd say you got exactly what you wanted. :)

I just got back from seeing it and it was merely OK for me. I thought the first one was very original and hilarious, but I really believe the trailers completely screwed up this movie for me. I'd say a vast majority of the really funny parts were already ruined in the 14 trailers they showed in the months leading up to release. Hell, I knew that
Chow wasn't even dead because my first thought was, "But the trailers show him in so much more of the movie..."

Funny movie but these studios need to quit showing so damn much of the movie in TV spots. I don't even watch that much television, maybe 8 hours in a full week, and I still had seen everything.

Saw it last night at the drive-in. I almost made a thread questioning whether I should see Super 8 and Kung Fu Panda 2? Or go see X-Men First Class & Hangover 2.

I opted for the latter. When I arrived, I was amazed at how packed the place was. X-men has been playing there for 3 weeks now, so I figured the crowd would be a little lighter. Xmen played first; I enjoyed it. I caught about 15 minutes of Super 8 during the intermission (and previews play at intermission time.) It looked pretty meh.

Then, Hangover 2 came on. My wife fell asleep (I wish I were kidding) during the first 10 minutes of it; I remember looking at the clock and thinking "15 minutes, and not even a chuckle yet." Then came the joke about an albino polar bear. I LOLed. I LOLed about 3 other times during the movie. Otherwise, it was a steaming pile of crap. Predictable, boring, same plot as the first movie, just without any jokes.

I saw it last night, did a 2 movie night deal. Hangover 2 sucks, not funny, not any different from the 1st, waste of $$. On the other hand, bridesmaids was fantastic. Funniest movie I have seen in a long time. Laughed more than any movie I can think of for a while.
