I went and saw it last night with a group of friends, while drunk (and then we went and got even drunker afterwards). It had it's moments, but otherwise a forgettable film.

Edit: For the record, I never saw the first one.

Just got back from seeing it and I have to say... pretty disappointing. Not even remotely as funny as the first one IMO.

My work took us out to the see this last night. The HR lady who arranged it was beet red at the end when we walked out. No idea wtf she was thinking choosing this movie, but we all enjoyed it.

Some of you guys are nuts. This was exactly what I hoped it would be. Actually reading some comments here set the bar real low, so maybe that helped.

I can't believe that got an R rating instead of NC17 with all of the full frontal....

I laughed a lot...not as much as the first one, but it was funny.

I heard it was funny, a few people in my business speaking class went midnight wednesday and loved it, same with some other friends/family.

Why are people on the internet never satisfied?

If it doesn't have robots or Wizards or hot girls that are made to look nerdy, ATOT does not approve.

do we get to see senor chang's penis again?

Yes, and some other penis as well...

I saw it Thursday morning, company I work for set it up so we had the entire building to ourselves with lunch etc. Overall it was funny, nothing special but was an enjoyable time, some parts were great. It also set the opening record for an R-rated comedy so I don't see it doing poorly at all.

I thought it was pretty funny. I'm not sure how it could ever surpass the first one and I went in with that understanding ahead of time.

Yeah, as long as you know going into it that it won't be as good or as "impactful" as the first one, I think most will enjoy it.

I mean, I don't know why people are expecting Godfather-esque cinema with this movie :hmm:

It was exactly what I thought it would be.

Came in fucked up, had a lot of laughs, stayed for the film roll at the end.

Theater clapped.

Stripper scene was epic.

"The Hangover Part II' biggest comedy of all time at $118.1 million

http://movies.yahoo.com/news/usmovi...rt-ii-biggest-comedy-all-time-1181-million?nc

"Shattering numerous records, Warner Bros.’ The Hangover Part II grossed $118.1 million in its first four days to help fuel the best Memorial Day weekend in history at the domestic box office. The sequel is expected to gross another $20 million on Monday for a staggering five-day bow of $138.1 million, setting a new benchmark for comedies."

I for one am not surprised - the previews made it look like it was more of the same from the 1st movie - which was very funny.

I was planning on seeing this movie, but saw the "meh" reviews on it. Went to see Scream 4 instead, wasn't disappointed.

LOL, awesome. When it comes to comedies, I always say "fuck the critics" :)

watching it now. scene is at the airport and the group meets stu's future 16yr old brother in law.

it's already turning MEH because of Alan. might just stop watching and read the wiki instead

Bootleg? I ask, because what douchebag posts to ATOT while watching a movie in the theater...

Didn't like the first one, and knew the 2nd one would be a total flop. Though, I might still watch it. There are plenty of movies I enjoy that have awful RT ratings.

If by flop you mean doubling its budget in just 4 days ($180 million worldwide so far), then yeah, its a flop.
