Although maybe if GH's website ever gets working properly, we could put together a little gathering of people to play. I'm only a medium player though, I still cant get the hang of hard.

The hand shift took me a little while to get used to as well...no real tips, just practice

I have to report I just beat Lou on Hard. Took me about 20 tries but I finally beat that ahole. I thought I would be happy but now I just feel empty. I think its the cough syrup.

I tried once or twice today but I'm losing hope. Care to share your strategy? I can hang in for quite a while unless he gets a "double". That's practically an instakill due to the number of HO/PO notes.

I'm almost done the 7th tier on Expert, I think I'll eventually be stuck on just Lou for both difficulty levels.

Just repetition. Got lucky and he got the double on me early which i survived through. I saved my powerups for after the long, long intro and then was lucky enough to get most of the powerups in then 2nd half and just spammed them when I got them. I was in the red after I "beat" him, but the finish is pretty easy and lasts maybe another 30-40 seconds. I would have broken the guitar and my new TV if I would have failed at the end.

Just make damn sure you don't miss your power notes to screw with him. And if you can, try and catch quick glances at his half and try to use the attacks when he's coming up on his star power notes. If he can't attack you it's a really easy battle.

Ah, I did it tonight. Complete luck. A neighbor was over and we were playing through co-op career on medium, before he left I wanted to show him what I was stuck on. I guess I play better with an audience.

It seems all the battles can be won if you just have 3 good power ups saved for the end . Whammy Bar, Amp Overload and depending on the song, Doubles or Difficulty up or Broken String (also requires luck). Like I was fighting Slash and I used a broken string at the end, and it broke the green one. Nicely enough, the start of his ending rift was all greens :evil:. I find it easy to kill them here because they tend to have a hard solo to play and it's easy to mess 'em up. That's how I beat Slash on Medium.

Last night I beat Slash on medium without any problem at all. I'd get a powerup, wait till he was going to get his (he was playing the special notes) then I'd activate mine. he'd always miss one of those notes and not get the powerup. Piece of cake... but now, I can buy him in the store... although I like my sexy leather clad blonde chick.

Anywho, just so you guys know, they updated the community site with... something. They didnt fix anything we wanted them to, but they did delete everyone's custom avatars and albums... so if you're wondering why you dont have one anymore, thats why. I had to reupload mine. This is so amateur.

That method didn't work for me on medium; I had to wait until the end like I talked about earlier. I just put up with the stupid battle things used against me, since those battle mode things never kill me anyway.

Do the in-game leaderboards seem to be messed up to anyone else, as well? Some of my friends don't seem to be showing up. Shad3wolf, for instance is not on any of my leaderboards even though he is on my friend's list and he's obviously playing the game. I only have 2-3 names on each one of my lists even though obviously more are playing.

Also, for those same in-game leaderboards, does anyone know how the game differentiates between "Career" and "Campaign"?

I guess I shouldn't be terribly surprised that it's not working properly.
