Finally got my account to link about 5 hours ago. No stats uploaded yet though. The service is disappointing to say the least. I hope they get their servers straightened out.

Yeah I like playing pro face off because there aren't gaps, but I wish there was a pro face off that let you select different difficulties. It's just fun to play w/ someone no matter their skill level w/o having to cut out notes.

Well I'll be damned, my account just linked up about a minute ago. I went from 4 groupies to 89 instantly (whatever the hell groupies are....I really don't understand it too much).

Well I 5 starred easy and medium and I got to the tier with knights of caledonia and cult of personailty on hard and so far it's raping me. I almost can beat knights though. God I suck at these games but I love them.

Don't feel bad, everyone sucks at these games. Its the only game where you can't win, you can only hope to suck less the next time you play.

i personally like knights of terabithia more... this game is too addictive.. I also have 41 groupies now on my page

I can't link mine either. Oh well.

Beat medium career the day I got the game with 5 stars in all the songs I played (except 4 in the slayer one).

Now I'm on hard career, on the 4th group and have 5-starred every one so far. It seems more difficult but I'm getting better scores than GH2.

Also, anyone else really hate the star power activation? Mine goes off so easily - especially if I try to use the whammy bar to get extra, it just goes off. It sucks when I'm trying to save it for the big combos.

I'm actually getting better at Star Power activation now... it seems I was "flinging" (whatever you want to call it...) the guitar too fast and it has to be more of a slow up then down movement rather than some crazy rockin' hell yeah guitar flick.

But the guitar is just getting worse . My blue fret started messing up yesterday along with my green fret in some song in Tier 3 on Medium. Me being sucky at medium, that certainly didn't help me out . Any ideas on what we can do to fix this? The problem is definitely that the locking mechanism sucks and doesn't hold it in tight enough.

Thats what I thought it was... because I didnt have the guitar, I just assumed incorrectly that it would benefit me!

Thats what I thought it was... because I didnt have the guitar, I just assumed incorrectly that it would benefit me!

Not sure how I missed this before, probably with all the strife regarding the website not working properly... but in case you all didnt know. This really sucks and I hate it.

Co-op Career Mode

Two players using the same console can participate in Co-op Career Mode, which is arranged similarly to the single player Career mode, with one player on lead guitar and the other on bass or rhythm guitar. There are only 6 tiers of songs, with each encore song being unique to the co-op mode. There are no boss battles in this mode. Co-op Career mode cannot be performed through networked players.

So, my dream of playing a career with my friend from NJ has been crushed. Sure we can play single songs, but not unlock those tasty treats exclusive to coop mode.

I've got one local friend that has it, and thankfully we play at *about* the same level... but still, I'm a dad, I have a wife... I dont hang out with my friends all that much anymore and when we do, we usually dont sit around playing video games. ugh. I'm so angry that developers just feel like gamers dont want coop to this degree.

I really wish it had online co-op. It'll be forever before I unlock those songs. Everyone I know here is pretty much uninterested in video games. Maybe over thanksgiving I can find someone to beat it with me.

I wish they would fix the site. I think someone over there saw my earlier post and decided to stop my stats from uploading.
