i fail to see how it was this girl's fault.. it was your dumb decision to go out at 12:30 when you knew you had to be at work in the morning.

On top of that getting to sleep at 2am has you missing work?

weak is right. I can see rolling in at 5am trying to catch an hour or two of sleep and missing the alarm...

Also don't you find it odd that with a girl you just met, already she is like part of your life?

And, furthermore, why is $240 "gone" when anybody making that much would be getting PTO? If you're an IC making $30/hr then that's not really something to (fake) brag about. And if you can't operate an alarm clock correctly, let alone put together a coherent post on a message board, don't count on that income being around permanently.

I have a summer internship that pays 30 dollars an hour with no benefits or PTO so if I miss work, i don't get paid. This is totally seperate from the contracting I do.

Weak, maybe, but I haven't been getting much sleep as of late and rely on my alarm clock to wake me up.

with all that said i wasn't really blaming the girl for making late, i mean i know I failed to wake up, i just wanted use Marion Berry's quote in a post...

I am confused, your making $240 for an 8/hr day on an 'internship' and still contracting other work? Then you are going haagan daazing? Then you are posting here?

doesn't add up...

If I were back in college and able to bank $240 a day, I'd be too busy in bed to make my classes.
 
summary:

- girl PICKED YOU UP on her car, drove you using HER gas
- you bought ice cream
- YOU forgot to set alarm clock

and it's HER fault that you couldn't get up. wow.
