The god damn B**** set me up!

I usually go to sleep around 12:30 on work nights, but last night around 12:30 am I was talking to this girl I met through facebook. We've only talked 3 maybe 4 times since the first time I messaged her way back in early June... Anyway the conversation went something like this:

Her: It's kinda late, i want to go to safeway to pick up some ice cream, but i'm too lazy
Me: haha, yeaa, i hate when that happens, its like that with me and target...
Her: OMG, don't you live like a block down, do you wanna come with me

Bare in mind now it's 12:30 am, and i've never met this girl face 2 face before... all of a sudden my reptilian mind kicks in and all logic goes through the door.

Me: yeaaah, why not why don't you come by and pick me up, call me when you get here
Me: my number is xxx-xxx-xxxx
Her: OK! i'll see you in like 15 minutes.

So she comes over, picks me up, we meet for the first time face to face, have a good light conversation, no dead spots, ... end up going to safeway, nothing more, nothing less...

So after she drops me off back at the condo, I think to myself... "that was weird," she kinda used me, and all I got was some ice cream that i really didn't want to buy... oh well there will be time to develop this in the future now that we're on a face 2 face basis."

I come home, have a bowl ice cream and turn in around 2 am.

This morning a familar ringtone (the one reserved for my ex) wakes me up... I groggily answer my mobile to hear her ask, "What are you doing answering your cell phone at work." I think that for a moment look at the time and to my horror realize the ugly truth and say, "OH S**T, it's 10 AM, and I'M STILL AT HOME, i didn't set my alarm, the god damn B**** set me up!!!"

is it shens you meant to say when you dont believe a thread is for real?.........why would she call your cell phone if she knows you cant answer it at work? what would be the point, and if as you state later in a post your ex work is somehow connected to your work why didnt she phone you at your office/whatever?


other reason i think this isnt real is you claiming she set you up, how did this girl set you up anyway? she asked you out for ice cream.....she drove, so its not like she needed you to drive her there and take her home, she did the work, u just provided company, obviously not very good company as she woulda woke up next you 🙂

This is my question. It just sounds like you made a decision and did not want to live with the consequences. There have been many nights I have stayed up late to go out, play BF 2, etc... and had to live with being groggy the next day. Just remember to set the alarm!
