Ok Who here has the fastest overclock

AMD Athlon?
AMD AthlonXP?
AMD Duron?
P4?
P3?
Celeron?

Bragging rights is very much encourage.

Post your basic system specs, default CPU Speed, Voltage used, FSB, and Mutiplier. Along with cooling methods used to get a stable syetm.

Mine is really pushed far yet

1.4 athlon @ 1.466 Mhz default voltage.
Epox 8kta3+
512 MB PC 133 Crucial SDRAM
Geforce 2 GTS-V

XP1800 (1.53)
Running at 150x11.5=1725mhz 😛

Nothing spectacular, but I'm the winner so far! Won't last long though...

Edit: bah forgot to say
Dragon+
2 sticks of PC2100 Crucial
Voltage is +.075
Alpha 8045 with a YS-Tech 80mm 48.5cfm fan.

Didn't want to bother with unlocking the processor, I can push over 150 (have tried 153) but haven't had time to stress at anything above 150. Solid as a rock, not one crash since I've had it running (outside of messing with memory/vid card speed, etc. normal use it hasnt crashed).

Athlon Palomino @ 2101 MHz (yes, I just upped it--Prime95 was successful)
-Soltek SL75DRV4
-Asus V8200 T5 Deluxe (soon to be replaced with Radeon 8800)
-350w peltier
-3x Corsair XMS2700 256mb DIMMs
-191MHz FSB x 11
-1.95 volts

Overclock in progress listed below
Pentium 4 @ 3.2 GHz
-ABIT TH7II-RAID
-ATi Radeon 8500
-2x Samsung 512mb PC800 RIMMs
-Maize II Waterblock with chiller
-160 MHz FSB x 20
-1.9 volts

This one isn't finished, so I might be able to push it farther.

Athlon TB 1.4@1.53Ghz - default voltage, just upped FSB to 146.

Athlon Slot A 750@1000Mhz - don't know how overclocked (I brought the chip and board secondhand and it was already overclocked).

What kind of cooling are you using?

<< TI-85@10Mhz >>

Capacitor replacement trick?

I have a switch so I can switch between default and overclock, since some TI-85 games aren't too fun on overclock.

GlobalWin FOP38 HSF with AS2, Lian Li PC60 case which has 3 x 80mm ADDA fans

Standard Slot A cooler (don't know what make, it came with the CPU and mobo). Cheap generic case with 80mm Sunon fan mounted on a blowhole in the side panel directly above the CPU, 60mm Sunon fan behind the CPU on back of case, 80mm YSTech fan in front of case. Nothing special really.

i was actually joking!!! hahaha you are a true geek 😛 😀

<< This is in definite need of a bump. There must be someone here with a better overclock than me. >>

i doubt it, i believe you are the o/c king here, seriously. 3.2 friggen Ghz??? holy bujesus :Q

Someone here must've pelted a P4A and gone nuts...I'm sure that with a pelt you could go to 3.4 or even 3.5 GHz.

i was just thinking about this earlier today...
p75 @ 133 (default voltage 😀)
1ghz tbird@1.4 (default voltage 😀)

Daovonnaex, you just bar none the fastest rig on Anandtech.

BTW where in the hell do you find a 350 Watt peltier?

Digi-Key.
I could probably get 2.1 or maybe even 2.2 GHz out of my Athlon rig, but that would require another voltage raise, which could damage the CPU.

i've got a temporary system up until my parts arrive:

Pentium 133@200 (3.45v[default is 3.3v])
I could probably push it faster, but the max the mobo will do is 3x 66fsb
24mb FPM ram @cas2
2gb scsi drive, w/ outdated scsi card that bottlenecks the drive
512K cache
1mb cirrus vid card (w00t!)

sure is gonna be nice when i get my athlon rig up😀

CompuWiz-approved (what ever happened to him?) Celeron 533A, MSI-6905 Master slocket, aircooled with Arctic Silver, Alpha PEP66 and Sunon 50 mm (quiet) fan:

976 (122 FSB) 1.9 and 2.0 V unstable but benchable on a Soyo (VIA board which had a 122 MHz setting)

960 (120 FSB) on an Asus P2B BX mobo at 1.9 V. 80% overclock! Survived burnp6 & UT Intro flyby running simultaneously for hours, and then dnet OGR for several hours. I don't run at this speed because the voltage is too high and the PCI bus is way out of line, and plus, this is at the extreme edge. I run 880 at 1.8 V but it is stable at 896 at 1.8 V.

Do I win the highest percentage stable overclock award?

Not yet, but you probably will.
