Daovonnaex-

Which MPX motherboard are you waiting for? The EPOX? I'd like to see what kind of dual overclock you'll have. 2 XPs at at 2GHz each would be pretty crazy.

<< Daovo, Just how many freaking systems do you have?? >>

In addition to those in my config, I have a slot A athlon classic system, an older SGI Onyx, thirteen Macs dating all the way back to the original Macintosh, and an Osborne. Only the two most recent Macs were paid for by me, the Osborne I inherited, the Onyx I won in a game of poker, and the athlon was the second system I built.

The Asus has overclocking features, but not sufficient ones. So yes, I am eagerly awaiting the EPoX. I doubt I'll use cryogenic peltiers for that, though.

I know some guy in a thread a long time ago like this one had a Apple II 1 mhz @ 2 mhz. I believe that probably takes the cake for the best overclock; 100%

Yes, we all know about the Finns and Japs who have high overclocks on systems that aren't very usable due to excessive condensation, unreliability, and lack of RAM, adequate graphics, or even a case. Once I get my LHe working and an unlocked CPU from Intel, I will show them who is the king of impracticality.

AMD Athlon Thunderbird AYHJA 1.33GHz 266MHz FSB

Had it up at 1.8GHz (12 x 150) under a Swiftech MCX462 w/ Delta for nearly 2 hours before I declocked it back to default speed due to heat.
On average I get 36*C idle with default speed. When it was up at 1.8GHz, the temperature varied between 49*C - 52*C idle.

My system:

AMD (T-Bird) 1.33GHz 266MHz FSB
ABIT KT7A
512MB (2 x 256) PC150MHz CAS2
Lian-Li PC68 w/300W Enermax PSU
