Was there a woman in the movie he didn't alude to wanting to bone? I'm honestly asking right now, as the only two women in the movie I remember are Talia and Catwoman...

I never got the impression that he was trying to bone anyone.

I do get the impression that he likes to bone chicks to keep his Bruce Wayne facade going (based on JGL's conversation with him)

I just know I'm going to feel stupid when I get the answer for this.. but Who's JGL???

And fair enough to your point, I personally couldn't help but feel like he has flirting it up (which he and the cat did all the time in the other versions of Batman so I didn't mind that as much) with all the women (both of them) and him getting it on with Talia/Tate felt forced. Bruce made the world think he was getting it on with all these women to create an alibi for his nightly habit of dressing up as a "flying rat" and terrorizing bad people..

Joseph Gordon-Levitt

It feels forced if you look at it from the "Bruce Wayne wanted to bone this chick" angle, but doesn't feel forced when you look at it from the "Seductress pounces on Bruce Wayne during his moment of weakness as part of her master plan for revenge" angle. Bruce Wayne never courted her, she always chased him.

IMO

I knew I'd feel stupid

And I can see where we start breaking down here.. at least on this.. Batman to me is never weak. The man started scheming with a broken back and thrown into a hole. The idea that he'd be so broken down he'd fall for someone seducing him because he lost his money (something he did for many years in Batman Begins) is really hard for me to buy..

he didn't just lose money...

he lost alfred, he lost his purpose/will/whatever (finding out that Rachel actually wanted Dent), losing his company, lost his fortune, lost Gotham's support, and is clearly weaker than Bane....

IMO Nolan went out of the way to show how weak Batman really is, in a very "he's only human" type of way

ah man, this is why I love Nolan movies, you can actually have conversations like this.

I respect what you're saying, but I just can't agree... and that might be my failing. Bats always about his war on crime to me. He can have his romances and whatnot, but at the end of the day it's about the war. Strip his money, butler and his love and he'd still fall back to Gotham, and cleaning it up. Like I said, this might be my failing here, as I just didn't see that in the movies, but admit I might be a bit biased here. 30 some odd years of me and the Bat might cause me to view things different than others.

Fair enough, I'm only basing my opinion of Batman on 3 movies :)

I know right? All the times that Batman got beat up by Bane, I kept thinking to myself ” here comes the kick, here comes the kick!” And ”POW!”...

The kick never came... :(

I kept thinking they were going to use it as the reason Bane was able to beat Bats in a fight, instead it was just never mentioned again. Even in the pit where his back is brokenish, they didn't mention it. It was like it never existed, yet we can waste time on it to show.. show.. hell if I know what the point was.

he can't go heli-skiing, doc never said anything about saving gotham =P

Well, from what I gathered, the leg brace/robotic-kicking-machine was to help alleviate the lack of cartilage in his knee. Notice how he stopped using the cane after he put it on... he didn't need it anymore.

Good thing he didn't need it to help jump out of any... oh wait
