Didn't read the whole thread but did anyone else think that Bane's voice sounded like Deckard Cain?
as one person already said, "Sean Connery behind a Vader mask"

I really think you're reaching. It was bad sound mixing, nothing more. This is just attempting to create layers in a movie to make it seem more than what it was.
If it were up to "Dark Knight" director Christopher Nolan, Bane would be ever harder to hear. When footage from "The Dark Knight Rises" first screened for audiences seeing "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" last year, viewers complained that Bane was nearly inaudible.
The audio has been altered, but there are still unclear moments throughout the film, which Nolan seems to be encouraging.
Here are a few of the holes in the plot (IMO):
1. Where were the SEALs from the river/sewer system or Delta Force/Spec Ops from the sky? For several months and only a handful of guys from the outside? Even Bruce could get back into the city after almost beaten to death.
2. Cops lined up and attacked the bad guys directly with handguns/shotguns? That's suicidal.
3. No guard inside the real truck with the bomb? Come on.
4. Kissing (Catwoman) and talking (Talia while she was dying in the truck) WHILE the clock of the bomb is winding down?

No, in general the theater's sound and film projection are excellent. This is the flagship stadium auditorium in a high-end theater that's less than two years old, with the full complement of modern amenities, including Dolby 7.1 audio. I will try another theater when I see the movie again, but since a number of reviews have complained about this same issue, I don't think it's fair to blame it on one crummy theater.
[plays Nolan's card]it's a movie.
I know it is just a movie, I am just playing nitty picky role. Now if the setting was the prison or the blocked tunnel, then it would be much harder to get in or out.
ya, that was pretty dumb imo.
to be fair, if extra guards are placed, then it will be obvious that this truck has the real bomb and not a decoy.
I am talking about guards INSIDE the truck or somekind of booby traps/protection for the bomb that would be invisible from the outside.
oh come on, i would banged her, let alone kiss her, WHILE the clocking is winding down. yolo
Don't get me wrong, I would do both of them and more but AFTER the dam bomb is gone. And it was not like they had a lot of time but a few minutes.
.
1. I did not buy Wayne falling for Talia for one second. That progressed way too fast and made no sense.
Did you watch the movie? They not only knew each other but had been working together for years.
Did anyone think the very first scene when the officer/agent is talking to the hooded prisoners was some of the worst acting you've ever seen?
Also, when they make the escape and Bane tells one of the henchmen "No, they expect a body," did he mean his (Bane) own? Later, they allude to this when someone says "We thought the nuclear scientist died in the plane crash." This is a huge leap in logic. First of all, why would they only expect to find one body on a plane that was carrying 3 prisoners, the scientist, 2 pilots, and half a dozen agents? And if they did find one body, why would they automatically assume it was the scientist and not someone else, especially since the henchman and the scientist don't look alike and wouldn't have matching DNA?
he'd known her previously through the fund raising for the energy project.
I'm not reaching. I'm thinking it could be intentional.
Theaters all across America fucking up his audio in the same fashion? Come on.

Yes I watched the movie. I guess I should have noticed the one line mentioning their past history together, in 2 hours and 45 minutes, as opposed to the 15 minutes of on screen flirting between bat and cat.
Yeah, but it just was not enough for me.but it still felt like the kiss came from out of nowhere. I guess we are supposed to build a relationship for them based upon that brief description of their working relationship,

yup. seems like a lot of people have missed a lot in this movie.Per the CIA agent, they had Scientist + 1 henchman on the flight manifest. Thus, either bane or his brother (the two hooded henchmen) needed to die to meet the one henchman body count. They also expected the Scientist, which is why they brought in another body and pumped the Scientists' blood into the dead body (at least that was my interpretation, thus matching DNA)
if i'm bruce wayne and i'm a recluse,i'm probably jumping at the first piece of high class tail that throws itself at me after i've made the decision to get back into the world, and better still it's someone he knows and someone alfred has been suggesting to me for a while now.
besides,she had an ulterior motive
Yes,I understand her motivation completely, but not his.

If it was intentional then all theaters would have it, not just some. My guess would be the source was jacked, or mixed for the wrong soundsystem.
