Just watched it on TiVo earlier tonight. Gotta love it when you can nail them with their own absurd lies.

Damned liberal media and its ability to logically make the administration look like complete idiots.

I'll admit that the Daily Show is pretty left leaning, but Bush has been in office for the majority of time Stewart has been at the desk. I tend to think that they would be just as hard on the Democrats if they were in the position of power that the Republicans are.

without a doubt, the whole point of the show is to make fun of politicians and the ones in charge, it just happens its the republicans now

Just find it odd how when people make fun of the admin, or show that they are not supportive of them people start to brand them as the left.

He'd make fun of a democratic administration too, but his views on Iraq and various other topics are clearly left leaning.

they only seem left leaning if you've bought into what bush is selling - otherwise they seem logical.

What do the neocons think about this?

It is Jon Stewart, what else is there to say?

it must not be very fun when the only TV you can stand to watch is Fox News

I rarely watch TV at all. The only show I watch is Lost and Ill occasionally pickup the nightly news.

Ill watch college football in the fall.

Lost interest in TV over 5 years ago. Lots of channels, nothing worth watching.

Aside from your viewing habits, what do you have to say about the OBVIOUS LIES depicted? Rumsfeld, Cheney, et al being skewered by THEIR OWN WORDS and THEIR OWN LIES???

So if you're against the Iraq war, you're left-leaning?

Any opposition to Bush or anyone in his administration, or opposition to any of his policies, is due to a left-leaning conspiracy in America and has NOTHING to do with any facts or any blatantly obvious lies told by Bush and/or members of his adminsitration.

In other words -- in America today -- the truth is a left-leaning conspiracy against Bush.

Little wonder we're in the mess we're in.

the show didnt used to be all politics. it actually used to be a lot more entertainment news, sports, human interest things. once stewart came to the show, there was a more full newscast type feel about the show...i think things just worked out well in timing for they're now almost completely political spoof show. which is pretty perfect now adays. i think they shifted with the american people as to what issues to cover.
