Lets examine what was said, my first post was a response to Czar and here it is:
I responded to the bold part which was implying that he wasnt left. He is left. No where did I dismiss him as a partisan hack. I just stated quite clearly that he is liberal, so why would deny it. There's nothing wrong with being liberal. As I have said:
and
But, you blatently responded by stating that acknowledgeing him as a liberal was some how akin to blaming any criticism of the war as a liberal plot.
You want to rant like a child and then get all huffy when someone tells you to shut up because your not helping
And you are a fool if you think some one that believes in gun control, pro choice, gay right to marriage and has voted democratic in eveyr election to date, is a conservative "masquesrading" as a liberal. I'm a liberal, Im just not stupid enough to use every opportunity to start spouting propoganda that makes me sould like a bratty child.
You know John Stewart is a liberal, yet you argue becuase you fear that admitting it somehow causes you to lose, like being liberal is bad or something. It just fuels their fire.

I'll admit that the Daily Show is pretty left leaning, but Bush has been in office for the majority of time Stewart has been at the desk. I tend to think that they would be just as hard on the Democrats if they were in the position of power that the Republicans are.

without a doubt, the whole point of the show is to make fun of politicians and the ones in charge, it just happens its the republicans now
Just find it odd how when people make fun of the admin, or show that they are not supportive of them people start to brand them as the left.

He'd make fun of a democratic administration too, but his views on Iraq and various other topics are clearly left leaning.

He's also spoke positively of guncontrol, negatively of the bush tax cuts, positively of rasing minimum wage, negatively of displaying the 10 commandments in courtrooms. I Agree with all these, but yet that doesn't make them any less liberal viewpoints.
and
I agree that the administration lies.

Any opposition to Bush or anyone in his administration, or opposition to any of his policies, is due to a left-leaning conspiracy in America and has NOTHING to do with any facts or any blatantly obvious lies told by Bush and/or members of his adminsitration.
In other words -- in America today -- the truth is a left-leaning conspiracy against Bush.
Little wonder we're in the mess we're in.
