Wrong. I'll vote for whoever is nominated.

Then it doesn't apply to you? I'd like to see a genuine case of this because it would be fun mocking them for doing the very thing they disapproved of Bernie Bros doing.

But, keep it up, you are doing a great job of making friends. Funny if he lost because of his supporters.

If he loses, it'll likely be because the Democratic leadership and pundits keep feeding into Republican talking points. I love how they think Bloomberg having an (R) before is good, yet Bernie's (I) isn't.

“I'm a Democrat," Cuellar said Tuesday. "I think it would be difficult to have a socialist at the top of the ticket. I think he clarifies it and says 'a democratic socialist,' but a socialist is a socialist, whether it's Republican socialist or democratic socialist, if there is such a thing.

“I’m not a socialist. I’m thinking about printing T-shirts saying as much. I think socialist economic policies fail, inevitably,” said Rose, another Bloomberg backer.

“I will support Bernie Sanders if he is nominated against Donald Trump; I will do so enthusiastically,” Peters told The Hill on Tuesday, while adding “I don’t think … putting a socialist on the ballot is a good strategy to defeat Donald Trump.”

Freshman Rep. Anthony Brindisi (D-N.Y.), co-chair of the centrist Blue Dogs, said he won’t back Sanders or Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) for president, telling The Post-Standard editorial board in Syracuse that their policies “don’t necessarily align with my beliefs” and it would be “exceedingly difficult” for either candidate to win on Election Day.

Centrist Democrats these days are just Reaganites. That is the problem with the Democratic Party. The Oligarchs control both parties, if not directly, certainly Ideologically. The Republicans act as the Bad Cop, while the Democrats act as the Good Cop. Regardless how the Electorate votes, the Oligarchs will always benefit, everyone else will stagnate, unless the Oligarchs choose to share some of their Wealth. Occasionally, some Billionaire will piss down a portion of their Wealth onto the admiring Masses. Usually as part of some Pet Project of their own interest. That won't address the problem growing on the Street though. The solutions range from Gentle and Easy to Violent and Deadly.

The people on the Street have been utterly silenced from having any meaningful input into how the System works. Their Unions have been Busted, their Politicians are owned by the Oligarchs, and they live in an Economy that can utterly destroy them with a simple mishap. One way to give the People their voice back is for the Democratic Party to return back to advocating for the Working Masses, helping them achieve financial security and even a sense of prosperity.

You must have just started following politics otherwise you wouldn’t have posted such nonsense.

Both side bitches are the intellectually laziest people in politics.

I wouldn't put it in those terms but, yeh. The negativity becomes self fulfilling prophesy.

It's the Economy. "Negativity" of the rhetoric is not the cause of Trump, a system slowly impoverishing the Masses is.

And who has any hope of turning that around if not Democrats? The first thing we have to do is win elections & you're not helping.

He and the Republicans control the Narratives, with the Status Quo. Those narratives being Tax Cuts, Program Cuts, De-Regulation, and Privatization. All the same things the Centrist Democrats support or are willing to accept. These policies are strangling the Middle and Lower classes.

You need examples of current centrist dems (not Bloomberg) promoting those things. They're only willing to accept that they've been stuck with them.

If Bernie gets the nomination, we're going to see many millions of dollars' worth of GOP, foreign troll farms and "independent" attack ads about his honeymoon in Soviet Moscow, his early membership in a Trotskyite organization, his praise for the Sandinistas. Expect a campaign stenciling a hammer and sickle on every eyeball in the country. Hell, even Goldman Sachs is already coming out and stating that the economy would "collapse" if Bernie is elected. And Americans will be eating this shit up. I don't see him beating Trump. Electing a Democratic socialist will have to wait. America is just not ready for this yet. They will need to feel some kind of pain first to change course, if ever.

They will do the same to any Democratic candidate.

Indeed. The number of right wing sources and articles spreading propaganda has increased exponentially over the last couple months. Right now the theme seems to be to sew divisions among the democrats and propping up who ever even sees an uptick in the polls (see Amy Klobuchar and Bloomberg).

Don't kid yourself. Bernie is obviously more vulnerable to that particular attack. He's provided plenty of ammo over the years.

It'll only work coming from Democrats, and there's plenty of it already. I doubt the people who generally vote Democrat will care about the constant crying wolf the Republicans do.

It's going to be a uphill battle because he's fighting not just Trump and the Republicans but the corrupted Democrats as well.

Spreading the hate & discontent, huh? If Bernie isn't a cult, why do his most ardent followers make it look that way?

Yeh, that's why he got a crushing 26% in Iowa & New Hampshire. If he doesn't get the nom, will y'all stay home & pout, like 2016?

So somehow the others in a worse position are somehow better right now? Those should have been good states for Amy and Buttigieg. Amy and Buttigieg are polling nothing from minorities and need it fast. Biden is imploding. Liz is finished after listening to the Obama/Hillary people.

I'd love to see them try to take away the nomination from Bernie if he gets only a plurality. That's a recipe for a loss.

So I acknowledge the Democrats focus too much on their own self-interest and their donors and that somehow indicates I'm in a cult?

These arguments aren't even really coherent. Moderates only want moderates, so they're essentially the purists they claim Bernie supporters are. Then they bitch about Bernie supporters not voting, while arguing moderates won't to presumably reconcile with their electability arguments, which ironically dismisses Bernie's strength being (D) + (I).

Lol centrist democrats seem to be in love with the Bernie Bros... Why don't you... like... actually assess whether you like him as a candidate regardless of his base? The Bernie Bros narrative is getting old.
