I only get like half of those. A lot of people are "more holy than thou" because nobody can back up their claims.

I used to have a perfect credit score, until the split-up with my ex-fiance, when all of the shared credit accounts went into the negatives when she couldn't pay them. Including our mortgage.

I've never made more than $30K a year.

I work an average of 55 hours a week.

I'm 22.

You should probably base all aspects on the post count. I'm guessing the higher it is, the better chance that they DON'T have those characteristics.

People with low post count might still have clung onto all those values and not given themselves to the looming deceit of ATOT.

I am not a person of said characteristics.

Well below the posted average here as well. I make somewhere around $11k/year from my graduate assistantship, and another ~$20k/year or so in student loans. I generally live paycheck to paycheck, although with the loan money being credited once per semester, I try to hang on to it for as long as possible. I have roughly $0 in any sort of retirement savings, but at least I'll be lucky enough to have health insurance starting in the Fall. During the week, I probably average 3 hours of sleep/night, and make up for it with 8-10 hours on the weekends. As for my credit score, it was in the high 600's/low 700's last time I checked, but living on credit cards for a few months every year isn't going to have helped it any.

Three cheers for the life of a career student.

I'm little over average - 23years old, 6fig salary, virtually no 401K, working 60hrs a week and sleep around 7hrs a week.

I've got cash tied up in my car and bike, otherwise the savings would be around 10-15K?

You need to start maxing our your 401k asap.

My firm offers vested profit sharing only (3 years), I'm going to Gradschool this fall. No point in doing it now. If I did do it, I would do Roth instead of regular 401K...

7hrs a week or 7 hrs a day? I would drop dead if I only get 1 hr of sleep per day.

7hrs a day... 60 hour work weeks leaves you with a ton of time to sleep 🙂

People, remember, for the average to be about 80K, there has to be people above that and people below that so they cancel each other out and land at 80k.

i like the guys who write a paragraph about how awesome they are, and then *shrug* at the end. As if they wipes away the bragging they just did. Annoys me.
