what parts of T6 you missing? im 7/8 and the chest would be nice justto have 8/8 but seeing as the T6 chest is like the 5th best one and isnt even as good as one outta SSC im not to worried about it

I'm only 2/8. Been next in line for chest and helm but Conq mysteriously hasn't dropped off Arch and Illidan in 4 months now. Passed gloves to others first because pally holy ones suck and figured I'd get them when they rotted just to complete the set. Doubt I'll ever use them.

Not so much worried about the 3 new pieces, as we will be in Sunwell every day till WotLK. Our Archimonde blitzs have been far and few between these days and I ever know if our next kill (with no conq drop) will be the last.

Problem with having the T5 helm and chest is T6 is a better upgrade for everyone who didn't get T5 and you get passed over for most of T6.

Ah yeah, you must have the Vestments of the Sea Witch? In my case the T6 chest is a step up from T5. What really bothers me is the rest of the guild is nearly full T6 and I'm the n00b still looking like a pink power ranger look that is so 2 years ago.

I seem to have bad luck with gems... I usually only get Talasites and Stars of Elune. I only have about 4 Nightseye and I tend to use those on a lot of characters since the metas tend to require some blues at least. What annoys me the most is just how random gems are. Brilliant Glass is a nice thing when it comes to gems, but the fact is that I cannot get enough Blood Garnets to really keep it up. I'm pretty much overflowing with all other types of gems, but I think I only have 6 Blood Garnets and I rarely get them. Although, I believe one prospect of Fel Iron Ore, I got 2x Blood Garnet and 1x Living Ruby 😛.

Bah, my rogue's T1 and T2 just sits in his bank taking up space... it's a good thing he has so many Onyxia Hide Backpacks :laugh:. Although, sometimes it is kinda fun to put on the old gear 😀. I'm actually kind of in your old shoes right now... I dismissed most instancing earlier on, but it seems now I'm in a bit of a mad rush to start doing more and more and on lots of characters to boot! I think overall, I'd like to mostly PVE on my Shaman, but I think having other options will help.

Being the only pally standing outside Sunwell with T5 while the others have golden crowns isn't so hot. Makes me want to hide my helm. Not to mention 5% to flash of light bonus from 4pt6.

Mainly for me it's about "finishing" the game. Having best in slot before the next xpac hits, being able to goof around for a change without the anxiety of "zomg is it finally going to drop this time!?" I need a little break before the next grind race starts.

PS: I know T6 is no longer best in slot if you don't keep the 4 pc bonus, but it's still the highest tier set in the game and drool worthy ;P

That reminds me I also need to win a bear before its too late. RNGs FTL.

I only wish it were wise for me to have so much fervor about my sets... most of them aren't so good. Mage set? Bleh... sometimes they have a good bonus, but spirit FTL. Only use of spirit was before they changed Evocation to return a percentage per tick instead of just uber-buffing your mana-regen. I'd probably take T5 over my current gear simply for the buff to stats and the 4-piece bonus isn't too bad (since I crit quite often as a fire mage), but even then, Spellstrike compares decently to the respective pieces.

Mmm all this talk of gear actually makes me want to raid again 😱.

thats not THAT bad, we had a holy priest in 3 pcs of T4 and 1 T5 with a light justice win the first shoulders of Twins, he used to post some of the tells people sent him asking about them, it was pure comedy gold

no nothing retarted, id prob drop the haste boots and use either

Boots of Blasting or Boots of Incantations with a 5 hit/damage gem

doing that woudl allow you to drop the +hit offhand for either Orb or Fetish

3rd Chest ZA ring is a def upgrade over Chrimson Fury
the Haste neck from Zul'jin is also an upgrade


coudl also use a bracer and wep enchant

I can make 6k gold in less than a week, but I'll never be able to get a bear mount once WotLK comes out. I'm keeping the bear.

Last run would probably have been mine since most everyone has it already, but we were in such a rush to avoid a scout behind us that we accidentally body pulled two extra trash groups at the stairs and wasted enough time. Killed Halazzi like 15 seconds after the timer expired. :| We agreed next time to just take the 3 seconds and kill the scout...

My brother finally got his bear a week or so ago... and spent the next hour seeing how big he could make his character using Elixir of Giant Growth, kissing Mojo and a Shaman's Heroism.

Dailies every day, badges for epic gems from MH/BT/SP/Kara every week and selling the gems for 400g+, splitting voids, farming primals and transmuting mights and diamonds, flasks, etc. Just the residual badges alone are like 1200g+ worth of gems a week for raiding I do every week anyway. And people will tip me upwards of 40g for doing enchants like mongoose and executioner with their mats.

Gems and enchanting have been extremely profitable with the advent of season 4 🙂

I only tip 15g for Mongoose 😛. Personally, I don't think it's worth anymore than that, because you essentially don't put in much effort for it... it's a "bonus drop" from Moroes. If it's say... -threat to cloak, which most people will get from HH/Thrallmar exalted... sure, that's a pain in the ass to do unless you really like Shattered Halls (or the heroics).
