Any chance someone is going to set up an AT server for BF4? I know we had TugBoat for BC2 and I don't recall if one was made for BF3.

where are the ranked rush hardcore servers?!?!

Hate to say I just figured this out because it was the same on BF3 which I have played extensively but I just figured out how the server browser works.

When you refresh it, it grabs a list but not all at once. You could spend 30 seconds on that page before it retrieves all of them. What I'd do is hit refresh and immediately order them by players. By the time I hit order, it only had a few dozen servers and I'd always see a few populated servers. I always wondered how many people really played the game. As it gets new results, they are added to the bottom of the list and NOT ordered like you'd think.

So, refresh, wait some time and then order by xxx.

Crash again. You'd think they'd run into this during testing. I'm done for now. It kills the whole buzz of a good round.

Single player even crashes. Also you can't change the FoV in single player so it's really weird going from MP to SP.

Just like rubberbanding your jet right into the ground. Nothing as frustrating as trying to pull up after a strafing run only to watch your screen jump around for 10s while your jet crashes into the ground.

How do you use your battlepack items? I just got 25% XP but how do I activate it? Does it activate automatically?

While you are in-game hit 'ESC' and you'll see in the bottom right corner of your screen where to activate it.

DICE should have give the criteria for single player dog tags and what weapons are collectibles, they did this in BC2, why not now?

Because then you'd not have to work to find them. The campaign is like 3 hours long if you don't skip any cutscenes. They have to add some kind of "extra" gameplay in it.

Since I'm bored and I'm less then 3h away Ill just rant a little.....

Who here thinks BF3/4 sepereates it self from the rest of the franchise, I mean from the Art Direction to the Theme Music/Audio both games are very distinct, I liked BC2 but it didn't have the flare both 3 and 4 have, I think EA/Dice did a great job in making the franchise very distinctive, and I'm not talking about gameplay I mean PR / Art Direction (Blue/Grayish art Style) / and Theme Song, the theme song is very distinctive .

Are people coordinating with in squad VOIP or has that been ruined in the post COD era?

Its funny, but no one uses it until they hear someone else use it. I was in a the same squad for 3 rounds with no talking, and I rambo revived a squad mate in front of 3 enemies and apologized over voip cause I knew they could at least hear it. Then he started talking, and the other two guys as well. So we started doing callouts. This kind of thing happens when someone starts talking. Very small ahole factor. Only once was a guy a jerk. Since its push to talk to you dont get a lot of constant static or music.

I wonder if its because there isnt anything to configure, and people assume its off unless you jump through some hoops. I didn't use it for awhile because I thought I had to set up a mic device and what not like in BF3. I was surprised when it just worked.

I will go in and use it and if nobody talks back, I just stop talking.

If nothing major comes up at work, probably 7PM PST. Since I come into work late I at least have to appear to be working full time by waiting till everyone else leaves.

I was like that as well, but now I still do the callouts to prevent an ambush or something. If someone doesnt want to hear it they can tell me to shut up. Once thing is sometimes the voice level seems low, so its hard to hear. I might look into trying to separate the incoming voip to hear better.

I know that if you set your default sound to speakers, VOIP still comes through a headset (at least for me it does).

The blue grey tint is for balancing issues. This help eliminate visibility in a lot of areas.

Well I remember when there was all that talk because of the Color Grading Mod Dice was about to release a on/off option but then retreat on that, saying that the Gray/Blue coloration was part of BF3 Identity, never heard about it being for balancing.

OK can I be added to the List Soldier Name is FredNotFound404 also shouldn't that list be separated by region? I mean it makes easier to pick people to play with.
