the building at "c" killed you, im sure its bugged because as soon as it starts it basically kills anyone with a pretty big radius even before it can be seen falling
 
The falling buildings also leave floating sections that hover magically. I wonder if those contain any type of hit detection.
 
Anyone else having issues with Nvidia using the 320.49 drivers instead of the beta ones? I actually had far less stuttering and major spikes with the 320s vs. the betas. Gameplay was actually pretty smooth with the 320s.

Mixed bag for me, my averages were higher but I did encounter a dreadful low when a attack chopper attacked me which dropped my fps down to like 8fps then I got this rainbow screen that locked up my screen then the game crashed and disappeared lol.

Smoother yeah but I had that incident and that was about the time I just decided to uninstall the Beta, here's to hoping the game releases with a smoother experience.🙂
 
Are some of the weapon unlocks only available via Battlepacks? If that's the case then that is seriously lame. But if Battlepacks are just a way of rolling the dice on unlocks I'm okay with it. I won't be buying them regardless but whatevs.

I thought they already announced metro would indeed be one of the maps in that expansion? I forget what the other three are. I'm sure Wake will be in there. I thought I remember Caspian being one as well.

They better have re-designed metro for 64 players, otherwise I will RAAAGGGGGEEEEEEE
 
Metro, Caspian, Wake.....the trifecta of fail.

While I like Caspian and Wake, I really dont wont to play them all over again so soon. Dammit Dice! Give us something new for our money!

Same here. After pre ordering both the game and premium....not a penny more!
 
Ive heard a lot of praise for squad VOIP but Im seeing (or should I say hearing?) next to no one using it. IMO BF3's VOIP was more useful, at least for friends since you could use it out of game also. I wonder if that same battlelog voice chat will be available in BF4's full game release.
 
Nothing makes me happier when I join a game late, goof around while drinking wine and some kid talks crap to me. Next round, just have to put the glass down and proceed to dominate. Of course, he was still super mad.

Seriously though, I am super tired of this map already.

Basically, if you want to own all the content, then you pay the additional money to get the expansions. Same thing happened with BF3 and the map packs and so on. Games aren't really $50-60 anymore 🙂

The digital deluxe edition is 70 dollars. Why not get that one instead?
 
I installed KB2670838-x64.msu which is the DX 11.1 platform update for W7x64. It seems to run quite a bit better, as far as that stutter/pause symptom is concerned. Read the instructions first for AMD hybrid graphics.
 
im not sure if its the beta or what but the spawns are horrid right now
ive spawned in front of people in front of a tank and seen people literally spawn right in front of me when i am ADS at someone else getting annoying

not a fan of bringing the building down, map plays better with it up

flying boat is intersting

bring back Wake and capian is fail so is metro, however metro could be made a lot better if they make it so there is not 1 giant bottleneck

also the battlelog wont work in Pale Moon 🙁

I'm coming from WoW so I'm familiar with expacs. Since I quit that, I just want to multiplayer (and campaign) BF4 and so I just want to know if I can do MP without every expac. Will it just limit the servers I'll see, etc.? Who knows, since I lost 1 drug, I may jump on every one for BF4 anyway. It certainly can't be more expensive than WoW in total.
