EDIT: Nevermind. Strange, on battlelog it says bnguyen1983, but when I look at the profile it says bgnuyen310.

I like the SCAR-H a lot, has good damage, avg recoil. I planned to only play all American gun unless I have to grind though the stock gun with my Recon and Engineer.

The amount of points you are given depends on how much you "charged" the defib before releasing the click. If you press the click and release it, you will revive the person with 20% of his health, and you will get 20 points. If you hold the click longer before release (about 2 or 3 seconds), you will revive the person with 100% health, and you will get 100 points. If you hold it for, let's say, 1.5 seconds, you would get around 50 points, and the player would revive with 50% health, and so on.

Good to know, I heard a squadmate talking about this yesterday on VOIP but i really wasnt paying much attention as i was in the middle of a fierce firefight while they were dilly dallying around back there. LOL

How are people getting all the vehicle unlocks in 1 round? Is the score required just that much lower compared to BF3? I remember getting the last tank unlocks in BF3 required grinding for maybe 20 hours worth to get.

The attack boat takes only 12,000 points to unlock everything compared to 69,000 for the MBT. Capping flags while decimating folks with the rape machine... errr, I mean attack boat, doesnt take too long. :)

It took me about a game and a half to get all the scout helo unlocks at 28,000 points on a high ticket server.

I also was using XP boosts but I dont know if that has any bearing on it or not.

I think I've definitely seen some Vram freezing, stuttering and sudden FPS loss from like 80 to 30. Willing to bet i'm taking a hit due to the game asking for 2500megs of vram and I am only giving it 2000. Might be time to lower some settings. Such a shame since FPS is high. Plenty of GPU power, but the Vram looks to be causing some issues similar to BF3. Happens mostly on the city maps.

Oh man. I was going to jump on a second 670 today after seeing the (somewhat unreliable) GameGPU results showing the 690 doing really well.

Back to the drawing board...

Funny thing is the game plays so well at 1440p/High on one OC'd 670 that I might just stay with that for a while. Was averaging about 57-58fps last night, but often sat at 60fps with vsync. Used 1800MB of RAM, for what it's worth.

OK, so my card won't cut it. So I got $200 to burn on a new one or used. I see a couple of guys selling their used 7950 and a 7970. Of course the former is cheaper at $175. Shall I cheapen up and save $25? My system is in my sig. Do I also have to OC the CPU?

See, this is where if you actually listed your system in you signature this comment could be helpful. The only reason I list mine is so I don't have to list what I'm using when asking a question or lamenting something. For example, what resolution are you playing at? I'm genuinely curious.

I turn off post effects and motion blur because they smear the image.

I tried that flood map last night for a few minutes, and yeah, it looks really great. FPS is lower on that map as well, kind of like shanghai but not as bad.

He had posted earlier, in response to a question I asked.

Seems like 2GB of VRAM may finally be at its limit.

Opened up my 3 gold battlepacks, and got NOTHING for the only class I play, Engineer. Ugh, wasted. Too bad we can't trade.

Guessing if you kill MSAA then you can run under 2gb at 1080p?Maximum performance gamer here and i have just one more reason for not running MSAA as i never run it in my games but this title sure is one i intend not to apply MSAA on.

Top tip for revives:

If you only have the small pack, quickly drop it on the corpse, then to the small charge revive. The person will grab the kit when they revive and they will heal up right away. It is sometimes faster than waiting for the charge to go.

Played too late last night. =( Hurting at work today. Thanks Obama!

Realize I don't have proof that the Vram caused it, but I've seen it before and it sure seems like a Vram issue to me, but the game is new and theres a chance it could be other things. It happened on the Locker map big time. Explosions and close in action would cause major FPS loss (indoors mind you) and FPS would dump. Problems on city maps as well with skipps now and then. Its not a natural FPS slow down, its a sudden plunge.
I do play with 4xAA and i'm sure that matters. I personally hate playing without it.
Also, you may not be as picky as me. Some people wouldn't notice any of these things and they wouldn't care. You can always get a second 670 and we can be gimped together!

Scores/points earned only count if you finish a round/map. Thus, they aren't reported until the end and won't show up in your battlelog.

I run @ 1440p with GTX680 2GB SLI all Ultra + 4x MSAA and haven´t noticed any VRAM limit caused slowdowns.
I´d think you really shlouldn´t have any problems @1080p. And I´m positive you´ll be fine if you disable MSAA.

Also, I didn´t get any XP boosts in my battlepacks, that totally sucks

So yea, TUGS + Sensor Balls = Ultimate infantry spotting machine for the sort/medium-ish range snipers.

I got my m40 + ACOG + Straight Pull bolt and I'm good to go :)

Is anyone having a problem going full screen?

The game always launches in an unmaximized window and when I go to the options and reselect or reapply full screen the game nothing happens.

The only way I can get full screen is to maximize the window and then apply the borderless option. The problem is I have to do this EVERY TIME I launch the game. Alt+enter does not work.

Latest drivers for my 670gtx. Any ideas?

I had a problem with full screen, but it only happened when things like Steam gave me a popup in the background. It is really annoying because it loses focus of BF and I have to go back into the options to change it back to fullscreen.

There are a few bugs I hope DICE is going to patch soon.

Do you use Teamviewer or any other applications like it?

Real excited about the SSD though. Currently, the load time for each map is over a minute for me.

Map loads are really quick with it. I don't have the fastest system but I am still reliably one of the first people in the game with my Samsung 830

Yep - I had the exact same problem and it is definitely frustrating. This seems to have fixed it for me so far. I don't know if it matters or not but I never actually spawned on the map in the game I joined when I went through these steps:
Enter game and have it load in non-maximized mode. Change mode to borderless and apply. Go back into video and change to and apply full screen. After applying full screen quit the game through the menu. Then once I started a new game the video settings worked correctly.

I was able to then play several newly launched games in a row without the issue

It does not do that, that is what i read, i end a round, start a new round, exit. still does not work right.
