Yes I play on a Battlefield 4 hardcore server everyday.

I was playing with Canbacon and DeadFred yesterday and it was hardcore. I also noticed when the server is listed as custom its usually hardcore, or hardcore-ish. Maybe look at the server names, as they usually say HC or hardcore. I dont think the filters are working 100% yet. Whenever I search for Domination or Rush, I don't see jack, but I see other people posting fully populated matches. Unless they are either completely full or empty, with nothing in between.

I'm guessing that the filters are broken at the moment......at least it seems like it to me.

OK, so my card won't cut it. So I got $200 to burn on a new one or used. I see a couple of guys selling their used 7950 and a 7970. Of course the former is cheaper at $175. Shall I cheapen up and save $25? My system is in my sig. Do I also have to OC the CPU?

I hope they save it until the servers get patched. Every other server I join either crashes or has severe rubber banding issues.

Wow... I played the SP and got the Peacemaker achievement and it didn't give me the unlock...


It now shows I've completed it and have the corresponding dog tag, but no P90 unlocked.

Unlocked the M4 this evening. Meh. It seems more accurate then the other carbines but still has the burst fire jamming from BF3 making its use at close range iffy at best.

Still trying to decide which are the best attachments to use in general. I'm split between ergo grip and AFG with heavy barrel. Ergo grip is much better on paper but the AFG really helps bursting at medium range. And I've made a habit of holding still for everything but close range.

Even though the game says suppressors do not effect accuracy I'd swear it seems like they do. With a suppressor equipped I cannot pick off long range stationary targets with single shots...

You'll be fine at 1080p. High settings will work great - just under 60fps, but it will be smooth.

Real excited about the SSD though. Currently, the load time for each map is over a minute for me.

The amount of points you are given depends on how much you "charged" the defib before releasing the click. If you press the click and release it, you will revive the person with 20% of his health, and you will get 20 points. If you hold the click longer before release (about 2 or 3 seconds), you will revive the person with 100% health, and you will get 100 points. If you hold it for, let's say, 1.5 seconds, you would get around 50 points, and the player would revive with 50% health, and so on.

Hmm... my P90 isn't showing up in my Battlelog, but I equipped it to my kit not problem in game. Found an HC server and dominated with it too!

I think I've definitely seen some Vram freezing, stuttering and sudden FPS loss from like 80 to 30. Willing to bet i'm taking a hit due to the game asking for 2500megs of vram and I am only giving it 2000. Might be time to lower some settings. Such a shame since FPS is high. Plenty of GPU power, but the Vram looks to be causing some issues similar to BF3. Happens mostly on the city maps.

First Impressions:

Crashed. Twice. Both during pretty fun runs. Matches last a long time with most server ticket settings so crashing sucks.

Game runs surprisingly smooth on my rig. First gen i7 with a 5870. All medium, 1900x1200. Might try high later.

Infantry play is much smoother than BF3 and bullets register nice, which was always an annoying problem with the Battlefield series coming from twitch shooters like CS.

Vehicles seemed beefed up. Mini Gun kills pretty easily. I like.

Loading is a bit slow. Maybe I should of installed on my SSD.

Other than all the crashes it's pretty enjoyable. I need some unlocks, quick though.

I get the crashes also. That map zavod 311 is pretty sweet. They got some good maps.
