Anybody just get finished watching this tonight? At first, I was skeptical, as it seems as most, if not all, of the "applicants" are already successful in their own right. One even owns a million dollar cigar company. But this kind of makes things more interesting.

The last part of the show really sets up the rest of the series, as the guys got really cutthroat with each other. Should be interesting to see how they do in the future with most of them hating each other. Especially Sam, the one whom everyone ragged on (but ultimately got to stay). I felt the girls had the unfair advantage, due to the sex appeal, but that's business I guess.

Who watched tonight, and will continue to watch? I know I'll stick around for atleast a couple more shows, should be very interesting.

David, the first guy fired, is an absolute moron:

"... I take solace in the fact I have a higher IQ than the other fifteen contestants..."

What a dick. He was smug, petty, and deserved to be fired.

It's my new favorite show... totally kickass

I respect what Sam did... it was the only way they could've beaten the girls, who were selling their lemonade for 5 bucks a cup

The leader guy said it best Sam is a maverick and I wouldn't trust him with my money. David is an over-educated arrogant ass.

Lastly, didn't it cross anyone's mind that even if these girls were business losers and these guys were all Donald Trump, the girls still would have won? Seriously, the guys had no chance, I called it before they even left the NYSE trading floor. Sex sells and the cute girls were using it to their advantage in an area where horny men abound. The guys were selling $1 lemonades while the girls were selling their phone numbers for $20.

BTW, first thing I said when I saw Trump's apartment: "Who the hell can live in that?!?!" Even if I were swimming in money like he is, I wouldn't live like that.

I was the same way. Too much stuff going on. Too damn shiny. My girlfriend disagreed with me, of course. :)

Now this is a reality show, i loved it.
The last part of the shows was the most interesting, basically whoever is the better talker keeps their job. And David failed miserably and got fired, he deserved it though.

Sam reminds me of Steve Balmer in terms of his dynamic personality and drive.

The force is strong with that one.

When reality shows started coming out, I boycotted all of them, but this one is the first I really wanted to watch. Anyone read what the disclaimer said at the end? I just got the first paragraph where it said the producers and other ppl of NBC advised Trump about each of the contestants, but it was still his choice in the end...but I missed the remaining paragaphs.

Oh yeah, one of the things that bugged me about the show was that it claims to have the "best and brightest" entreprenuers, but most of them (except for a few guys) just coincidentally happened to be more good looking than the average person.

But the difference between him and Balmer is that Balmer has common sense. Seriously, if you were just a person walking down the street and didn't know about the show, would you fork out $1000 for a stupid cup of lemonade, when you can spend that on a cruise, or a damn nice gift for your kid? If that happened to me and I see cameras focusing on me, the first thing that comes to mind is some dude is trying to sweet-talk me into being a dumbass on national TV - I'd be the idiot who paid $1000 for a cup of lemonade. Sam may have a dynamic personality, but he's too overconfident and naive.

Fun show. Of course I watched it. I haven't seen much of the other "survivor" shows but I'm a business junkie.

So, gang, how would YOU have handled the lemonade business?

i thought it was a terrible show. utterly predictable; they're trying WAY too hard to captivate the attention of the audience- and taking it too far. like gimme a break; having sex wars and all that false sense of oh whats goign to happen next; its just lame.

Well, these kinds of shows thrive on false sense. It's all they have. And the idea of the show wasn't about sex wars. I thought they did a good job of not necessarily concentrating on girls vs boys, just what each individual was capable of. It is ourselves who focus on gender wars.

Yes that is true...the $1000 cup was crazy, he should have aimed for $500... ;) HE took a risk, a big one and failed, it may have worked for person looking for their 5 minutes of fame. To his credit he cose a person likely to give him that money...it's NYC rich older men abound.

This show is excellent and I cant wait for the next one.

I don't know. I only watch about 5 minutes of the thing... But if Trump fired a guy because wants to finish his thoughts, then I think Trump is pretty stupid. You have to remember Trump don't want any yes man as his apprentice. As for sex sell, any girls who used that will not win.
