Sauber lost that race for Perez. He should have pitted with or even before Alonso. Instead of coming out of the pits with a one second gap on the preferred tires he came out seven seconds behind and had to kill his tires to bridge the gap. I wouldn't say the Sauber is a shit car either. The Ferrari is a shit car based on their standards, but the Sauber is looking like a pretty good car, at least in Perez's hands. I'm not sure if banning the blown diffusers deserves all the credit, but F1 is more exciting than it's been in years.
