It took two years, but we'll finally have an F1 season really worth watching again. No more Formula Red Bull.

Excellent first race... I think Schumacher was definitely in the running for a podium if his car didn't retire due to tranny issues.

 He had the drive of the day as far as I'm concerned. Amazing how much he can do with a shit car. Makes you realize how mediocre Massa is in comparison.

Massa has never come back after the accident.

The before and after is shocking. It's very unfortunate.

no, he's exactly how he was before the accident, except for his unusually good 2008.

Last time I checked, 2008 is right before the accident...

2006 and 2007 were also not bad either, for a number two driver.

His pace since coming back has been way off the number one driver however.

so 2008 was really good, and 2006, 2007, half of 2009, 2010, 2011 and 1 race of 2012 have been not race-winning material.

I don't have any idea what this means.

Pre accident Massa is much different than current Massa.

Look at the difference between #1 and #2 drivers, before and after...

Comparatively the F60 is also probably the worst car Ferrari has ever created. It will be interesting to note what happens this year. Massa has always been a number two driver for a good team. Now he is a number two driver for a back marker or not even an F1 driver.

Pre/Post accident is much different.

I think Alonso has shown that the new car may not be quite the dog we heard it was. The next few races will tell. It wouldn't be the first time we heard that a car was awful, only to have it do pretty well overall.

Massa was mediocre before the accident, imo.

I can't figure out why he is still with the red team.

I would bet that Michael Schumacher would still be a better driver in that car than Massa ever was.

Of course, Schumacher is probably in the better car this year...

Alonso is one of the finest drivers ever to grace F1. I am actually pretty happy that I can watch him live. Yes, he has his flaws and I don't root for him most of the time.. but he is one heck of a driver.

This race was pretty damn interesting and actually I have to say.. it was also pretty inconclusive in terms of overall performance. I have to wonder what the real potential of Lotus, Williams and Sauber is.

Also, lol at Kimi asking about blue flags.

The F60 is 2009's car.

F2012 is this years car.

Kimi is still my favorite.

He actually looked fairly good. Besides the cock up in qualifying, Lotus actually looks quite good.

All the main teams besides Mac appear close.

Yeah, I love Kimi too.. but as I said earlier.. I would be very happy even if he finishes 5th in championship.
