This is why Republicans can't be trusted to dictate history curriculums in schools. This is real indoctrination.
The article doesn't say anything about the contents so it's hard to know if it's bad or not. There's nothing inherently wrong with the idea as combating anti semitism is a good thing!

She hasn't done anything significant, she and that jackass trump had no right to run for president. The fact this pisses off scum and filth like you is good.
Holy shit, where the fuck have you been hiding Indigestible? We all know you're a trump-fluffer, no need for the facade.

ADL is the equivalent of the NAACP for Jews. Would you object to handing out materials from the NAACP?

Entirely irrelevant fact - the ADL once threatened to sue my friend's roommate's band because they called themselves the Defamation League.

They were terrible.

How is first woman to be nominated by a major party in a presidential election not really notable? She's the first woman in the history of the union to accomplish that. That is a significant milestone for women's equality.
Geek is an old school republican he doesn't actually believe any quality of genders or races or sexuality. He likes to think he does but everything he says here and who he votes for proves otherwise.

The worst people always think they are pretty good people.

I don't support a racist misogynist bigoted hateful party if that's what you mean.

What's your voting record the last 20 years?

You're the one that stated:

"The worst people always think they are pretty good people."

I know from your posting history you "think" you are a pretty good person, So...

What you want me to list everybody I voted for in the last 20 years?

I did vote for Bill Clinton in his second term...

LOL

-Honestly, yeah I wouldn't want any kind of single issue special interest group anywhere near a place of learning or education.

These groups by design have a very narrow and focused agenda that they rabidly pursue often at the detriment of critical thought or intellectual curiosity. Their goal isn't to get someone to think, it's to get them to think like them.

In a marketplace of competing ideas, these groups would be counterbalanced with others and maybe something resembling a debate or dialogue would emerge but when given exclusive access to impressionable minds the goal is to indoctrinate.

Note at the end of the article the ADL guy says that violence against Jews always spikes when Israel is at war "with terrorist groups" not Palestinians or bombing a bunch of kids who weren't responsible for much of anything (not an endorsement of violence against anyone, just the violence against Jews might have a more complex and multifaceted source than sympathy for terrorists).

Would Greg Abbott hand out material from the NAACP? It's not the job of the Governor to dictate what to teach public school children.

Abbott is one of those anti CRT people so pardon me if I assume he is just pushing indoctrination.

I mean it sort of is - that's why states have curriculum standards.

They say History repeats itself... Who's to say that Our history books haven't already been watered down with other important historical events and people being removed or never included? There are some who believe the bible itself, all though not techniqually a history book, has passages that where originally written in the scriptures, that have never been included in the actual publication of the bible. IF true, what is the purpose? I suspect the asnwer is the same as it would be for the History books... Just a thought, and something to ponder.

It’s exactly the governments job to determine curriculum for public schools, and standardized testing ensures private schools meet some semblance of appropriate education.

The problem is when government officials choose to wield their power with such obvious and strong bias and implement curriculum that shouldn’t be there. That’s real indoctrination

Those were two separate paragraphs in his post. I saw no need to comment about his silly first paragraph. Grammar is hard for some I suppose.

Definition as per Merriam-Webster:
A subdivision of a written composition that consists of one or more sentences, deals with one point or gives the words of one speaker, and begins on a new usually indented line.

Except when overzealous soccer moms get their bible study groups involved ... then they know what's best for Timmy and Suzie.
