Makers of Texas Pete hot sauce face lawsuit over product being made in North Carolina (msn.com)
Even though it's location of origin is explicitly-stated on the label, the basis of the lawsuit appears to be that "the consumer of this product is stupid, and doesn't know how to read a label."
Don't tell then that Arizona Tea isn't made in Arizona, or that Heinz picked "57 Varieties" out of no-where.
What's next? "Mars" bars aren't really shipped interplanetary from Mars?
Don't get me started on "Federal" Express.
Edit: Update, Judge OK's suit against Barilla Pasta, claiming to be Italy's #1 Pasta, while being made in IA and NY, USA.
Italy's 'No. 1 brand of pasta' faces a class-action lawsuit over its products that are made in Iowa and New York (msn.com)
