Ah, the scourge plaguing the World!!

At some point they will all be storming the forests to eradicate the Bigfoot(feet?).

ah yes. this imminent disaster will have disappeared as soon as those terrifying migrant caravans always seem to disappear the second conservatives get what they want in an election--which is actually something they never seem to be able to vocalize beyond "suck it libtard!"

What part of kids die because they don’t get the care they need do you have trouble understanding?

It’s a medical decision that needs to be left to parents, kids, and their doctors.

Care to argue the facts or just roll with your feels?
small government libertopians always wanting to shove every single lever of government power into your house, in your face, and into your sexual organs.

that's really all they're about. Truly sick, disturbed, fucked-in-the head people.

You say some of the dumbest shit on this website and are the reason the 'pro-life' party is in power. I live in a blue state and voted blue but you honestly think party affiliation is going to determine how people feel about this? Even if they have been in physical contact sports their whole lives? What a silly asshat you are lmao.

BAHBAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! what a fucking lie. This reads like one of those billions of fake twitter bot accounts: "I'm a lifelong liberal but here's why I'm voting Trump!" or "I'm a real liberal and this is why DEI and trans rights are fascism!"

Smh, what will they die from, Bryce? I never said I didn't want them to have access to care, I just said letting men play in women's leagues is dumb. I don't agree with stunting puberty and things of that nature but if that's what they want to do, so be it.

Why do you care? This affects a vanishingly small number of people. This is probably why conservatives think it is a good wedge issue. They tried this with gay people but too many people know someone who is gay so it backfired. Trans people are so rare that’s not the case.

Let the individual sports organizations work it out - this is a great case where minding your own business is the right thing to do.

Congrats on falling for the rights fake culture war that most definitely doesn’t affect you or anyone you know. It’s a non issue and look at how worked up you got about it.

Someone tagged me in a post from 3+ years ago and this guy continues to respond to me in fanatical ways. The organizations have already pretty much figured it out, so I don't know why this thread even got brough back up in the first place.

Its ok to have a mind of your own brother. Not agreeing on every single point is not 'falling for the rights fake culture war'.

You never played co-ed sports in gym? You need the government to interfere with sports organizations? You want people to be genital inspectors for kids? Why are you so weird?

I think the reason is because states and the Feds are very much not minding their own business.

The point is you don’t have mind of your own. But you could prove me wrong and show me any post of yours talking about the issue prior to 2015 (it doesn’t even need to be on this forum). The question you should be asking yourself is; yeah, why do I now only care about this issue when trans people have always existed and we even have examples of them playing sports.

It’s a rhetorical question because I’m not interested in trying to change your opinion because no one can do that but if you can answer the question honestly you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about.

Well thank God the gop addressed an issue that affects…what 20 people? F-ing clowns.
It won them the election and firmed their majority AND will bring more Judges.
Seems to be working.
My new thing is to stay out of these issues. Just keep it basic decency stuff like trans folks deserve normal human respect, it’s okay if you want to ban them from sports, it’s not okay to have some creepy ass dude inspecting genitalia.
This question is poison because there is a winning side and a losing side it only separates us. These issues don’t move the ball forward they just cause us to bicker.

The problem is they aren't stopping at sports. They are banning medical care for kids.

The sports issue is just one they found as a winner to mask their real agenda which is persecution of trans people.

Sure how is taking this frankly losing battle going to help the overall cause of better for all of us.
I say stick to bread & butter simple things that help the overwhelming majority of Americans, give due respect to others and move forward. Trans issues can be handled later. We simply cannot keep going with the results that have been had over the last 15 years. There needs to be a strategy change, there is no reason to lose the House, the Senate, the Courts AND the Presidency over niche issues.

Hey I love ya man, it’s apparent these issues are to drive us in circles. Don’t have to spend tons of time on them. Just do something when there is power.
Cool, cool.

It's one thing to abandon trans people as people, it's another to do simple things like say XX and XY sports leagues exist for a reason. If trans sports participation is so very very important, then create a co-op league for anyone and everyone who wants to compete without limitations on sex or gender.

Are we trying to win elections here, or are we OK continuing to lose "regular" people by demanding extraordinary things? Does losing another 6 or 7 Senate seats and 10-15 House seats worth it if we both cannot "legalize" trans women in women's sports leagues and give Republicans enough of a majority to rewrite the constitution?

Or do you believe that if we continue demanding that 17 trans women across the country should be entitled to play in XX sports leagues, Democrats are going to pick up Senate seats, House seats, and state/city/local seats?

I don't believe that advocating that trans women should be able to continue playing in XX leagues is as important as maintaining enough of an electoral presence to actually prevent Republicans from doing way fucking worse things than banning 17 trans women form playing in the XX sports league.

Or maybe I'm a secret Republican who wants trans people to die because I don't fucking care about which circuses trans women are allowed to perform in.

Jesus Fucking Christ.

Oh, I'm not all that concerned about the sports stuff. Fanatical Meat said "trans issues", that's pretty broad.

I also think trans issues had mostly fuck-all to do with Democrats losing.

@nakedfrog & @Fanatical Meat you guys need to stop fighting. As I posted in the other thread this administration has solved gender bias and trans issues on day one by legally declaring we are all female and lesbian I guess

You don't need to throw trans people under the bus.

The better message might just be: "Why are Republicans so worried about inspecting children's genitals?" and then move on. We don't have to engage with Republicans made-up problems, nor throw very marginalized people under the bus in the process. And we definitely don't have to engage with Republicans' complete bs argument that they are "concerned about women" (as fucking if!).
