Has the hospital admitted the truth yet, that they send Duncan home because he was a black non american, who they wouldn't be able to collect money from.

Please, not again. This has been covered extensively in this thread.

We know that the hospital gave him three strikes for being black, not american, and from the 3rd world. Decided it wouldn't be worth their effort to care for him, so they sent him away.

This has been all but proven.

Did you know that Leader Kim was having gay unicorn sex? This has been all but proven.

I can claim just that and it's just as valid as your claim. For that matter I can say you are the unicorn. You can't prove otherwise.

Yes, that is why the hospital then performed a costly imaging study like a CT scan on his initial visit knowing he wouldn't pay... makes so much sense.

So 40+ people were cleared today and so far no new secondary infections in the US.
Also the Ebola patients seen at the four certified centers seem to be recovering with a much lower mortality rate.

All very good news.

Now we need to focus on helping west Africa get the outbreak under control. It may require a vaccine at this point, if prevention can't be ramped up.

They claim to have done one, I don't believe they did.

Even if they did give him a CT scan, it could have been before the doctors found out about his background.

According to his medical records he was scanned to eliminate other possible reasons, such as appendicitis, for his illness. This happened during his 1st visit.
Yeah that's pretty much SOP. The patients diagnosis required a process of elimination. So much for "kick him to the curb".

So they get him processed, get his vitals, do whatever tests including a CT scan, and only then notice he's black with a foreign accent? 😲

They gave him Tylenol.
But not the extra strength.
Just the low strength.
Cheaper.

And I think he got the hospital 2014 calendar and a orange sucker.

The problem with these kind of statements is that they demonstrate a complete lack of understanding of the mathematics behind Ebola, as well as not understanding what a level 4 biohazard means. Drinking the cool-aid is probably an appropriate analogy.

Ebola is a level 4 biohazard - look it up and you'll find that means dealing with Ebola contamination requires among other things a 'positive pressure' suit. At least that's what it required a couple of years ago... Its worth mentioning here that about 5% of Ebola deaths are healthcare workers. Its also worth mentioning that HIV is only a level 2 biohazard, its not comparable.

On the math part - in W Africa Ebola is growing with a contagion factor of 1.5 to 2. That means for every infection, 1.5 to 2 more people get infected. That number has to fall below 1 for the disease to shrink.

At the current rate of growth, by March around 1.4 million will have been infected. At a 70% death rate that means Ebola could easily eclipse HIV as a killer in Africa within 5 months. And how many healthcare workers will be left at that point?

And if we are getting Ebola cases in the US now with only 10000 cases in Africa, how many will we get when there are millions?
Pretty sure Taylor Swift is a level 5 biohazard. Just ask any of her exes how long it took to get rid of the crazy.

Overblown? If anything, I think what we've seen so far shows us that it's really not that difficult to transmit from any patient having real symptoms to other people. If an "active" patient can infect caregivers, how hard would it be for an "actively contagious" patient to infect other people who are unaware of the danger?
It's extremely contagious at the terminal end, when you are literally full of virus, convulsing, bleeding from your pores, and expelling volcanic eruptions from both ends. People tend to seek medical attention way before that point, which as long as professional medical care is available removes friends and family from the equation.

Those currently being treated all have one thing in common. Compatible blood types to other survivors whom they received blood transfusions from.

I for one am willing to take the risk and personally find out, for the betterment of society of course. I'll issue daily detailed reports complete with pictures and video.
