I'd just like to extend a Good Satuday Morning to all my TeAm mates who aren't here ignoring this thread.

I believe "vamoose" comes from the Spanish word "vamos", which means we go. So it's only unused in English.

Where's DeerSlayer when we need him? :p

I agree - but I think that the spelling is different in spanglish compared to spanish. I also remember a time when that word (I mean vamoose) was quite popular in everyday slang ... :)

Well they can, but apparently they won't

And why not?
I assume that they either find it amusing, insightsful, interesting or - sometimes - plain funny or the thread is not harmfull enough ... so why bother. :)

And: if you have one neffing thread, then the neffing probably stays just there. Hmm, should I quit neffing here and go somewhere else? ;)

I thought a vamoose was the last car on a train...

That's not right... It's an American Indian baby...

No, it's a ruminant mammal with humped shoulders, long legs, and broadly palmated antlers that is the largest existing member of the deer family from Virginia.

I've passively ignored this thread for long enough, now it's time to actively ignore it.

Are you thinking of the "rear end device" that hangs on the back of the last car?

Usually called "Fred" by the guy that lost his job to it.

MDE, are you SURE that you quoted them accurately? I mean... after all - If we're to truly ignore this thread in the style to which we've become accustomed, it would seem that a strict adherence to facts, and careful consideration of our statements while doing so would be in order. To do less would be to minimize the importance of the very crux of the thread from its inception. :Q

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I quoted them accurately.
