I agree - but I think that the spelling is different in spanglish compared to spanish. I also remember a time when that word (I mean vamoose) was quite popular in everyday slang ...

I assume that they either find it amusing, insightsful, interesting or - sometimes - plain funny or the thread is not harmfull enough ... so why bother.
