The equivalent of this is a common line from many asshole racists: "I'm not racist, some of my best friends are black".
Yea? Well let's look again at what I was responding to:
You are absolutely consistent in your tendencies to believe white people are defenders deserving of every benefit of the doubt, while dark people are thug attackers deserving of being shot on sight.
So, I was told that I am "absolutely consistent" (which to me sounds like
with no exceptions) in who I will side with in any biracial self-defense situation.
And in your opinion, it isn't legitimate for me to respond to that accusation with examples of biracial self-defense situations where I supported the black person killing the white person? I mean, if that isn't a proper response and refutation just what in the fuck would be?
And remember, the Trayvon thing was Hispanic vs. Black, no white person present.
Also keep in mind that I have no control over how much prominence various cases attain in the mainstream media or how popular they are to discuss on this forum. If you don't like the fact that my examples were obscure to you, or something like that, take it up with the media.
That's a good thing but all the thousand word or shorter essays you type scream contrary.
Word? So the fact that I type long-winded posts about issues indicates that I'm in denial about what my real feelings are and why? Interesting, interesting...
Well, if that's the case, then how do you explain the fact that my very first post on these boards (before I was what ANYONE would consider a racist btw) was 844 words long?
And the fact that I make extremely long posts basically about anything I discuss. Even gaming.
The fact is, I've been long-winded both verbally and textually for as long as I can remember. Well back into my early teens which is about 20 years ago. I frustrate people IRL plenty of times by being really long-winded and taking forever to get to my point. My gf likes to poke fun at how I'll do this even about completely mundane household things, giving a bunch of back story and lead up before I just get to the frigging point.
I admit this is an unfortunate trait I have, but I'm afraid you haven't stumbled on any DaVinci code "ah ha" moment about my beliefs and motivations.
