This guy was completely justified in defense of himself. completely.

But, as usual, spidey's so giddy over it that it turns people off to his point of view. Not every black teen is a skittle, spidey. shit man, that's not even clever word play. It's transparent stereotyping.

In this instance the media is calling the teen who was shot a "man" (and the teens who fled "men"), when the situation is less clear the teens are called "kids" and "children". The circumstances are different, but it does show how bias can change the tone of a story as well.

While I agree that this appears to be a legal shoot, I doubt anyone but a psycho would consider the outcome a happy ending. Except for being relieved to still be alive, I doubt the shooter is happy that he had to do what he had to do.

I'm sure he's upset to have nearly died to an armed thug, but I'm sure he's very glad to have been armed and capable of defending himself. The happy ending is that the good guy lived, unharmed.

If someone points a gun at you, they forfeit their life.

So how is the everyday person supposed to tell the difference between a 'mis-understood' teen versus one in the video who is willing to kill you over nothing? These teens dress, speak and act exactly the same....

Sounds like a good shoot and I have zero problem with it, but I'm at a loss as to why anyone would want to watch it.

Because Spidey wishes it was him who had the opportunity to shoot someone and be able to justify it.

Internet sociopaths are less dangerous than violent and feral teenaged sociopaths, though.

Perhaps but if you think that Spidey isn't hoping for the day that he can be in a situation where he can shoot someone and cite self-defense then I have a bridge to sell you for cheap.

Nothing wrong with that. If that is true, I applaud him for willing to put himself at personal risk in order to perform a good shoot on a less productive member of society.

I doubt anyone but a psycho would consider the outcome a happy ending.

This was an armed robber who even showed signs he might murder the victim DESPITE having gotten his wallet and complete cooperation.

No psychopathy whatsoever required to be relieved and even happy this person is removed from society and the gene pool. He can now no longer victimize anyone else.

I'm sad at the outcome, I wish he would have taken the other 2 thugs outs. That would have been a happy ending.

Exactly. The dead one will never rob or kill anyone again, ever. He will never soak up another tax dollar via any means.

The other two will likely do all of the above, copiously, and it would be a better, happier world if they had taken a headshot each too.

Why are these obviously racists threads allowed to be made and are still open?

It's obvious that Spidey and Geo are nothing more than puke-bag racists looking to paint all [black] "teens" as thugs (which ain't nothing but another word for n1**er....so lets cut the crap and be honest).

No "dangerous" teen here.

Get your guns ready for a "good shoot" because we're getting robbed...Psych!

Well, lets not forget about the real "danger" to society when a white "teen" can get off basically free of charge for killing people:

Why not just cap these threads in the head, and due without the overt racism.

Black male teens are over represented in cases like this.

I didn't say anything about good or bad. I said sociopaths are more dangerous than other people. This is backed up by evidence.

I think you're unfairly maligning sociopaths. You're not better than spidey and his "skittles."

good job

Maybe the bad guys will think twice before they do stuff like this. I wonder if they have an email distro list they send out? Maybe they will put a warning out?

No...just no.

A thug is not necessarily a black person. Your equating the two tells me that you somehow think that either all thugs are black or all black people are thugs. Whichever it is, fix it.

This. Life is harsh. Do what needs to be done to survive and move on. Oh well.

Bet these guys will think twice about robbing anyone again ;-). If only more stories ended this way eventually we'd have a lot less violent criminals.

Do you need address of cemetery to do some grave dancing? A few of you could make a play date of it. ():)

According to politicians and "resident" anti-gun experts around here, having a gun could not possibly save your life when someone else is already aiming a gun at you first. There is no possible way a person could use a gun in that situation fast enough! So why have a gun?

Bullshit. Too many fucking idiots that don't have a clue. Just because someone has a gun pulled out doesn't mean they are actually willing to pull the trigger at a hairs moment. They may do so once they get worked up to do it, but they aren't always ready to react. They are expecting compliance. When someone defending themselves, and has trained themselves then one can get the drop on someone else who isn't expecting their target to pull a gun and shoot back. The training isn't even all that hard and courses for it are offered everywhere.

I'm sorry that you don't like the research into antisocial personality disorders but they are correlated with increased criminality and increased severity of crimes, making them more dangerous.

This is just another one of those times where you try to be 'edgy', huh.
