You know, it's almost like we just had a case like this where everyone jumped to assumptions and wanted to lynch someone.
You know, it's almost like we just had a case like this where everyone jumped to assumptions and wanted to lynch someone.
You mean like this?

ooops... looks like there was a witness at the scene that called 911, saw the kids get out, and look like they were trying to "stash" something. However, that was just their actions, as the man never actually saw anything either in terms of what they have been trying to hide if they did hide something. Nor did police investigate the area until 4 days later.
hrmm... wonder how that changes things.
He didn't say they looked like they were trying to stash something. He said, "One was on his cellphone looking back, and it looked like they were pretty much just -- I don't know if they were trying to stash something in the car or look for something or what, but it looked like they got out, kind of brushed themselves off and then they got back in." It's pretty obvious that he's just offering a guess as to what they might have been doing. That's more clear when he's interviewed and says he didn't see a weapon and didn't see them throw anything out of the car.
So he heard gunshots, saw some teens flee the scene, didn't know what their involvement was but guessed they might have been the shooters and were ditching the gun. It was just a guess, it doesn't tell us anything.
Have you come up with some explanation for why these kids would have ditched the gun in a parking lot of a strip mall that contained three restaurants and a Starbucks? Seems kind of risky to do it where there would be so many witnesses when they could have driven farther away and no one would have questioned why (because you know, they were being shot at).
He sayed it looked like they were trying to stash something. He said he never saw them stashing anything though, to which I stated in my post. That doesn't change the statement he made during the 911 call about the observed actions of the teens.
There is actual evidence of self defense in that case, and it wasn't known at first.
We're still waiting for that evidence in this case. If it turns out they called someone other than 911 immediately after the shooting there might be some doubt, but until and unless that happens Dunn's only defense is that he imagined a gun.
If you're familiar with the English language, which I presume that you are from your repeated usage of it, then you can read his words and see that he's clearly guessing. I did you and everyone else the favor of pasting them in this thread so you don't even have to click a link to read them.
Why is no one willing to explain why they took the huge risk of ditching their imaginary gun in front of three restaurants and a Starbucks?
Sure, we are still waiting on evidence, but we also have direct evidence of self defense already in this case. We certainly have enough evidence to start forming an opinion (both legally applicable and otherwise) as to what happened. Based on what we know as fact it's blatantly obvious that the felon thug crew hid that shotgun.
A witness specifically saw them trying to stash something. That is HUGELY damning evidence if the state is going to take another lynch mob to trial.
I'm still waiting to see that police report. I don't remember where I read it, but at one point someone made a statement that the felon thug crew never told the officers that they left the scene....
New details in the case were revealed in court today about the SUV the teens were traveling in. According to Strolla, he expects the police reports to show that the red Durango Davis was in, left the crime scene and came back before police arrived.
"The ballistics will show that if a gun is fired from just a few feet away from where my client's car was and those boys told police they never left the scene, well that's obviously a false report to police," said Strolla.
Meanwhile, 72 people were shot (12 were killed) in Chicago over the holiday weekend...
Where is the outrage???
Wait, are you saying the guy who said "I don't know if they were trying to stash something in the car or look for something or what" is your direct evidence of self defense and proof that they hid a shotgun in front of three restaurants and a Starbucks and in view of witnesses who never saw the gun? Or are you referring to the defendant's eyewitness account given a day later after fleeing the scene, ordering a pizza and not reporting the shooting to the police?
Are you interested in purchasing some prime real estate in lower Manhattan currently occupied by a bridge?
Again, there is NO logical reason for a SUV of 4 kids who know the laws to 1) leave the scene 2) park at the end of a parking lot and appear to try to stash something 3) RETURN to the scene complete with homie bleeding out 4) Not tell the cops that they left the scene and went for a short scenic drive around the neighboring parking lot with some thug leaking blood all over their vehicle.
SA probation's given in place of jail/prison time. Felons go to prison, nobody in this crew was a felon. If the person had done something serious they would be on parole and have served time.
Probation's basically a slap on the wrist.
I addressed all this before. I edited my previous reply with your source for the teens lying to the police. It was speculation, not fact. And it was most likely inaccurate speculation.
I don't think you know what reasonable doubt is.

Cleopatra is black right?
False.
The one crew member was convicted of a felony. I don't care if they're in jail or not - convicted felon is a convicted felon.
He certainly would've found his ass back in jail after getting caught running with a crew that carries a shotgun around.
The felon thug crew not telling the police they left has not been addressed.
Face it, your felon thug crew is done here. I highly suggest you find another situation to support.
Society doesn't care about thugs or crews that run with thugs.
If your friends or family are on felon probation for multiple crimes I highly suggest you avoid getting into a confrontation with them by your side - because I guarantee no one is going to believe the thuggish version of events.
It's like I've been saying for well over a year.... Society in general is fed up with this thug culture and the people who support it.
I have no idea what this has to do with this thread, I'm sure you believe you're making some sort of point though. So I'll play along as I could use a good chuckle.
She may or may not have been black, but it's unknown. Now how exactly does this tie into this thread?
So what's the punishment for getting caught with an imaginary gun? Would it be imaginary jail, or imaginary prison? I'm confused here.
LOL I am pointing out how wrong you tend to be on the easiest of things to research. Egyptians are considered black right?
You know maybe the thug "businessman's" story would be more credible if:
He hadn't continued firing as they tried to flee from his shots.
He would've stayed to give his story when police arrived.
He would've came back/turned himself in once he found out he murdered someone.
Had one witness who agreed with his story.
Had the imaginary shotgun been found or seen by ANYONE other than him.
Another example of ATPN thread "white privilege". In some eyes Dunn gets every benefit of doubt. Kids in car get none.
People are fed up with thugs of any color. Those of you who continually associate thug and thug culture with any race need to get some help to deal with your racism.
