Privatized prisons & probation are a shameful kind of corruption offering all the wrong kind of incentives to contractors & politicians entirely. You can simplify the tax code and change how taxes are paid but at some point someone is going to have actually send the money to the government and the government is going to have to some enforcement mechanism in place since sure as the sun rises someone will look for ways to get out of paying taxes.

Does Ted Cruz believe his own stuff? I doubt he is as dogmatic and simple minded as he leads on. He is really an intelligent person who is showboating. I put this guy in the Trump category. I don't think he's serious about being president, but is more interested in the attention and fame that comes along with a run. Maybe he's one rung higher than The Donald, but he's still much closer to Trump than he is to, say, Scott Walker or John Kasich. Being a far-right lunatic is his standout feature and the whole of his appeal with whoever it is that finds him appealing.

What should be apparent to the party bosses, that a Pubbie conservative death match among the craziest of the candidates does nothing but weaken the party and their objectives.
