Yes, all work units go to whatever team you are a member of.

I can't believe this. Now my work computer blew up. That's 3 PCs within a month of putting SETI on that have died. I'm not sure if this is a coincidence or what.

Let me put that statement into context ,between all the Team Anandtech members there are literally 100's of PCs running SETI ,many 24/7 ,many people (including myself) have been running it for years.I can asure you if SETI caused PCs to blow up then virtually none of us would run it!.Btw if you don't believe my numbers ,post at the DC forum asking for an estimate of how many PCs SETI is run on.

BBR is kicking our teeth in now. They are outproducing us...not by many...but they are now bringing on new members with lots of WU's....we have went from 80k plus to 25k minus in the last month or so.

I've got 17 PC's at home crunching 24/7 and 8 to 10 at work.....all crunch 24/7. The only things that have died on mine are the fans, which are normal, and one Tyan Dual board (S2460) which has a known defect in the ATX connector (being undersized and burns up) anyway.

Welcome to all the new TeAmmates......and an invitation to the rest of AnandTech to give us, or any of the other great Distributed Computing Projects, a try!

Take a look at Smoke's "Big Movers" thread on Sunday if you want to feel good. Flying up the ranks is an awsome feeling. After awhile, you don't move very much...if at all....and sometimes, its backwards!

(backwards is OK as long as a TeAmmate is kicking the crap out of me and it's nothing with me dropping production! )
