I haven't followed this too closely, but Swift has avoided saying anything political, and has a very white fan base. Over the last couple years there's been a growing obsession among the alt right that she secretly supported them, and like most things incel that involve women, it took on a life of its own.

I've heard like 5 of her songs ever so I won't even comment other than the first one was a very typical country-pop song by a young woman (hence the "11 year old girl lyrics" comment I made), and the rest have been typical catchy modern pop songs. I've taken issue with her parroting record labels bullshit arguments about stuff like streaming and other things so I'm hardly a champion of hers all the time. She has more recently started to take a more hard line stance on standing up for women, and I think that's great. They need people like her to speak up.

It really depends on context though. It's pretty sexist to be commenting on how hot she is in a thread that's about her political views. It suggests that she isn't anything more than an object of male attention. But if I'm watching her in another context, like walking down a red carpet in a sexy dress, I might say, "damn she looks hot." My wife and daughter comment on men's looks all the time when we're watching TV. It's almost unavoidable. We all have an opinion on the looks of basically everyone we see. We're not going to keep it to ourselves all the time. It's a matter of knowing when it is or isn't appropriate.

So far as calling her a "whore," that's just flat out nasty misogyny.
