Here are the current stats for February - the combined BOINC-month!

The numbers look good, but more effort is needed!

TAS needs to increase it's daily production from 35 360 credits/day to 36 500 credits/day to reach the goal of 1 000 000 credits produced in February. That is a 3.25% increase! Can we do it? Please check:

1. Those who crunch seti: are you using the optimized applications?
2. Have you eliminated memory resident programs hogging CPU-cycles and RAM?
3. Is the computer on 24/7 or as much as possible?
4. Have assimilated as many computers as you can?
5. Can you suspend other crunching for a few days to increase production in BOINC?
6. Have you chosen projects which fit your processors?

Every optimization counts ... lets give it a grand effort!

well, i'm letting my simap pending deplete itself a bit so i should get some more results in bbc cpdn and regular cpdn.

i did start up a f@h wu on my sons machine because theres really not another boinc project i like aside from what i'm running. and its running 2x boinc anyway so overall, i think you can expect a bit of improvement from me this last half of the month.

Thanks Peter!

I'm giving it all I can, but I will be sure to kick each box daily! :D

-Sid

(Are you counting all that I am crunching under 'Insidious'? That would be Rosetta, SIMAP and BBC-CDPN... My numbers seem a little low in your stats)

I tried to get and add tasSID and Insidious - but those were the numbers from Feb. 18, not Feb. 19! I think they are right ... :Q

Have not seen him in a while - but he is crunching on and delivering quite a lot of work ...
I miss him ... would be fun if he was around now and then. :)

I busted 50k. Happy enough for me, since I've only been BOINC'ing since 12/05.

Great and congrats, caferace - that was fast!

Oh, its Feb. 21 today - one week left of the month's project. Crunch on, please and lets give it a final rush! :sun:

I'll put up the poll tomorrow (or today - depending on how "real life" turns out). Anything anybody wants me to add to the poll? :Q

Edit: a spelling error - which made me blush ... ;)

Just added two PIII's (866Mhz each) to the grid. I put 'em on SIMAP just in case it wins the March poll. ;)

Hehe, nice to see that SIMAP get's so many votes ... it's a project of University of Munich, which I visited a couple of times before I decided which university to go to. :)

Looks great so far! :D

Well if it's Simap and it looks like it will be, I'll be sitting out. The wu are just to big for me to go unnoticed at work.

I know what you mean Johan. I usually spend about 15 minutes uploading WUs from one night in the morning. And that's just 2 PCs with 50% SIMAP!

Sorry folks, Real Life just came in - the stats will be done as soon as I can - just not just now :(
(Car broke down in - 17 degrees C with all kids, far away from help, had to fix it myself which took "a few" hours. The kids were just great - they called it an "adventure" ;)
As if that was not enough the hospital called me in for on-call-duty... came home half an hour ago ... wonderful Sunday :( ;) :D
Going to bed ...
